I’m an old codger and got these to prank a bunch of little nieces and nephews. I tried and experimented with two of these before putting on my “magic show” for the little kids.Instructions are NOT included nor are the needed. It’s pretty obvious how this trick works. Prior to putting one in your mouth, take a small toothpick and gently pull out the white “leading” paper which slides out from each side. Place the “prank” in your mouth shortly before performing the trick and BE CAREFUL not to saturate the “wad” of paper inside of your mouth. Saliva will weaken the paper and spoil the prank. I’d say, do this trick within 30 seconds of placing it in your mouth.Having used the toothpick to extract the “lead” white starting part, place the lead forward side out between your teeth but DON’T BITE DOWN on the white “lead”.Enter the room and mumble something like “OH MY GOSH” and slightly open your mouth and grab the “lead” with your thumb and forefinger.GENTLY START pulling the lead using one hand and then the other. After you have extracted 20 or so inches from your mouth, the paper starts extracting more easily and then you can start going faster on your pulls with both hands.Word of caution… this paper wading has an odd “taste” to it and I strongly advise having a glass of water nearby, rinsing your mouth as soon as possible and maybe spitting the water onto the ground in front of your audience and saying something like, “Wow! That tastes like rotten eggs laid by not a chicken but a skunk.” Your audience will laugh and by mentioning “rotten eggs” and “skunk” - little kids will not go near the paper to investigate. Quickly do Spode of the wad and re-rinse your mouth. The country of origin for this prank is China and I have concerns about sticking this in my mouth, not knowing what residual dyes or chemicals were used in making this prank, but I guarantee you the taste is BAD.

Poorly Made
These come with no instructions, rip way too easily, and have a bad odor.

Fun at parties
These are great at parties. They’re easy enough to get started to pull out, but they sometimes have a kink or something that makes pulling it out look tough (that could have been me tho). But overall these are good for a suprise magic trick.

This always gets a laugh and a smile
Held a lecture on harmonica and one subject was keeping it clean. My harmonica wasn't playing right due to paper clogging the hole so as I kept pulling paper out finally it was playable!

These things are AWESOME!!! Here are my instructions.
Ok, first off, I agree with you commentors about the lack of instructions. It took me some experimentation to figure out how to use these, but I think I have it figured out. I tried cutting the tape on the first two coils, they still worked, but you don't want to do that.So this is what I figured out:1. First photo. This is the back of the paper coil, turn it over.2. Second photo. This is where the paper pulls out. The paper pulls out in two strips & starts with white paper. In the middle of the photo you can see where those two strips overlap. You need to pull a little of that white paper out, see photo three.3. Third photo. I used hemostats, but tweezers would work, to grab both strips of paper, carefully loosen them up & pull them out a few inches.4. Fourth photo. This is the final result: a few inches of the white paper pulled out, so you'll have something to pull out. Of your mouth.5. Fifth photo. Another angle of the fourth photo, with the two strips separated a little. Now you're ready to rock 'n' roll.Slip the paper roll in your mouth, behind your teeth. Keep your teeth slightly open, use your lips to hide the paper roll and start pulling! While it is tissue paper, I've only had one tear and that was when the paper got caught on a tooth. Firm pressure works fine. Also, they seem to hold up just fine to saliva, although holding it in your mouth for a minute or two before doing the trick might cause problems. You should obviously practice this trick before trying it out on an audience. I've already used four coils and will probably use another four before I'm ready to try it in front of an audience. They are consumables, meaning you use them once, then toss them. Don't be the guy who swallowed one, he's just a prankster, although a funny one.

Doesn’t work
The coils are not easy to use in a performance. Not a good quality. Not good brightness of colors. Not a good value.

Great Fun!!!
Kids love this gag. I just went through a package of these at a kite festival in Arvada. After the trick, the kids played with the streamers in the breeze.I gave one to a 6 year old boy, along with a short explanation. He "pulled" the streamer out of his younger sisters ear. It looked fantastic. The adults in attendance were amazed. If you are having trouble with these, check out Happytule's review on how to get them prepped for use. All it takes magic-wise is a little slight of hand or misdirection. There are several You Tubers that demonstrate the gag. If you're everyone's grandpa, these are a "must have"!

Not the Greatest
I’ve been performing magic for several decades. I’ve used these types of props in the past. You really have to be careful with these and not pull too hard or the paper will rip. All in all, it works (kinda).
