Completely works! No difficulty. Worth the money.
This is PERFECT.I recently realized these overflow covers are a thing, but I ordered a different one. The different one did NOT work for me. It had 12 suction cups around the edge that refused to stick - certainly not all at the same time - and it really didn't fit over the lever on my over flow drain. So, I bought this one instead. And it WORKS! This one is MUCH thicker and more substantial than my original - you can feel the higher quality. And - no stupid suction cups!!! It's a smooth seal with no in between spaces for water to leak through. It's also deep enough to cover the lever on my overflow drain. It takes no effort to keep it stuck. Just put it on and it stays. The suction cup one would take 20 minutes of pushing down the suction cups, only to have a few pop off as soon as I turn away. Really, don't buy a suction cup version. Buy this one!

The bath experience I deserve!
Finally, after countless times of taking a bath and having the water run down the drain once I lay down, this has been an absolute game changer. A while ago, I used a removable tape to tape up the drain hole and after baths and regular showers, it became discolored and moldy...gross. So I took it off and every time I would take a bath, I would remember the problem of the water reaching the overflow. Slowly I took less baths because it didn't seem like that great of an experience. I use epsom salt and I didn't like the idea of having all the effort of putting it in the tub water literally drain away. So recently, when I was filling up the bath, I remembered this issue (instead of usually remembering once I get inside and dealing with the loud noise of the water draining), I searched up this item. I didn't understand why others have a hole in the drain cover, I guess maybe because it's at the very top...but because sometimes I move around, the water creates waves and it would probably make that draining sound. I picked this one because it was a complete seal. Now I understand that the ones at the top would work too, because by the time the water is that high, it would be pretty close to level with the ledge of the bath tub. But this one is clean looking, plus it comes with a drain cover! I used both just now and I had a quiet experience, no water draining! If it unseals, you can use your foot to seal it.. excellent product, thank you for making this, beats tape and is much more sanitary!

Glad I purchased
We just moved into a new home, and the garden tub drain was leaky, on top of the tub overflow being set low. I considered replacing the drain, but that would have been a ton of work. The other drain covers seemed suspect with all the smaller suction cups, and eventually I settled in purchasing a pair of these, one for the overflow, one for the drain. What can I say? The design is incredibly simple and very effective. Leak is gone, no draining from either location, and I can enjoy some much needed soak baths after and during the move. Solid purchase.I've seen a few people reporting it doesn't work for them due to tub curves or whatnot. My tub did have a curve as you can see in the picture, but perhaps not as much as others. Despite my tub curve, it works great. I let the water pressure hold it on and wet the suction cup as intended.Oh, and kudos on the cute packaging. It really drives the "boutique" feel of this item, like I bought it from Crabtree and Evelyn.Good product, good price, good marketing, good presentation. Good job.

garbage, doesn’t work at all
I bought this several months ago as a gift for my partner’s birthday. I gave it to him last month and we finally used it last night. Note to self: always try products within the return window. This thing is a joke. Not only did it create zero suction around the overflow drain, but to even try to get it to grip under the water pressure, as advertised, i had to sit, holding it against the drain as the water rose, for 10 minutes… trying to get it to just suction on its own. Never happened. Air gaps on all sideswhen i got in the tub and it kept letting the water drain, i finally tried just keeping my foot against it the whole time to try and keep it vacuumed against the tub. Still didn’t work. This was an expensive mistake, and i’m past the return date , so the least i can do is warn others.

And only works if you don’t have a lip
It worked well the first time. But after that I really didn’t suction well though you can place it in a way that would stop the water from mostly leaking

Works but not perfect
First of all, it is a super cute product and made of a good material. I have used it once so far, and if you follow the directions it is easy enough to create a good seal. My main concern was that once you create the seal you fill the tub higher, and my faucet hits it directly, which doesn't help it stay very well. I also take very hot baths so I was worried it may melt under the heat but it held up good. The seal did come undone once I had finished and sat up to start to drain the tub. I supposed it may be because where the top of the circle sits, is where my bath tub curves. So while it isn't perfect, it is 100x better than not having it!

Works great, easy to use
I tried a bunch of different b overflow stoppers and this one was the easiest and most effective.

Great for a deeper bath!
I am so thankful I found this product. It fits easily over my larger overflow cover, and stops the annoyance of the water running out. It allows me to have a deeper bath, and is super easy to use. As a bonus my cats seem to find the kitty face on it amusing when the tub is empty as well.
