Perfect cuticle, hangnail nippers. Extremely sharp, so care must be taken. I wanted very sharp, so these are exactly what I was looking for. Gold color is a nice touch. Give a bit of class and makes it easier to locate in the ‘bag of nails’ tools. Well made. Again, very sharp so very effective; just some care to be taken to not cut too deeply.

You know how people say you can do more damage with a dull kitchen knife than a really sharp one? Well the same is true for cuticle nippers trust me. I had one from a national brand for decades and it served me faithfully and well until one day it just didn’t anymore no matter what I did. So in the interest of loyalty I bought another of the same kind only to find that it was a shadow of its former self and while it’d grab hold of a cuticle and pull on it it wouldn’t neatly trim it as in days gone by. Then came the mad purchases of numerous others until I ran across Viba Professional Gold-Plated Carbon Steel Cuticle Nippers, French Handle D501. I knew nothing of the brand but thought why not what’s one more? Well I’ll tell you the one more was the one in fact. This is a well made quality product that feels polished and solid in the hand; and it is sharp. But that’s not a bad thing it’s what makes it possible for it to do that which it does so well when handled with the care and respect such a tool deserves. It comes presented in a lovely case for safe keeping with a protective shield on its tip so as to avoid it being bumped against anything that might dull it. When you do need to trim the occasional stray cuticle or hang nail it does so neat and cleanly leaving behind no ragged edges or nicks. I’m very happy with this purchase and will be buying more to have on hand and give as gifts in short order. Whether you’re a nail professional or just an average consumer who just likes to take care of your hands this product will serve you well and meet expectations for you as it has for me.

This is the best cuticle nipper that I’ve bought here. Very sharp and easy to handle.

I am always in search of clippers that are and stay sharp. I usually just get Revlon but more often than not, they are dull as soon as I open them. These clippers are definitely sharp and work well. I notice that I have to angle them a certain way to get the most effective use, but that's not really an issue, so I would probably give them 4 1/2 stars. Likely will buy again unless they get dull too fast.

These broke within 6 weeks of purchase. They’ve not been right for about 3 weeks, I thought they were just very loose and it would take some getting used to. Tonight the inner component that holds tension fell off and I don’t think they can be put back together.

The sharpest nippers I've ever used. That means they are precise and easy to nick yourself. Would absolutely buy again in 20 years when it finally falls apart.

Firstly the gold is beautiful! these are the best cuticle nippers I’ve ever used. So easy in the hands, super sharp, and the mouth is a great size. I’ll absolutely be buying a few more of these !
