I received bihome maxi instead of ultimate can I use it in canister filter mabe break it up will it work as good

Same thing happened to me on one of my orders. I use the maxi in one of my filters and ultimate in 2. Maxi works as good as the other 2. I'm not sure what filter or trays you are filling but I fill mine to the top. Most media that come with the filters fill only half at best. By filling the entire tray you will use more than what usually comes with the filters. I also broke some apart to fill in .

I have biohome ultimate filter media 2 lbs. i'd like to buy this one. can i put all together in my 407 fluval? does it have to be same or mix is fine?

I have the fx6, not only do I use biome maxi media. I also also other types of media as well, they’re all good for maintaining your biological media!
