This lens is an absolute work horse and a huge part of my photography work is done with this lens, from portrait on location to reportage style shots and perfect for my advertising work. it's a lot of money but worth every penny. If you can afford it, i'd not compromise for the f4 version. this one is my go too for so many shoots and I have a lot of L series lenses.

Very light and compact. Don't get along with the trypod mount. It responds as expected for 'L' glass Canon lenses and with f2.8 throughout a very good lens. Either coupled to a R5 or R6 mk2 it works well.

I like that this lens is sharp and compact. There is no compromise on picture quality. Use to have EF 70-200MM mk2 but I was reluctant to always put it on my bag as its a bit heavy. This one is so light and it's always in my bag now. I shoot more with it than I use to be with my old EF version. If you are not in the R system yet, this lens could be a reason to consider switching to Canon mirrorless.

Im Vergleich zum legendären EF 70-200mm F2.8L IS II USM, das bei DSLR-Nutzern sehr beliebt ist, bietet dieses RF Systemobjektiv tatsächlich eine noch bessere Abbildungsqualität. Die fortschrittlichen Linsenvergütungen sorgen zusätzlich für eine exzellente Bildqualität und reduzieren störende Reflexionen. Cannot say anything about the lens but got mine badly packed and damaged, lens hood and lens bag were missing. Manuals and warranty card were also not in the box. Lets see if i can get a reasonable replacement as refund does not seem to work in India
