Dee Zee DZ86965 Heavyweight Bed Mat

This mat fits my 2023 Nissan Frontier Pro4x with 5 ft short bed with rhino paint. I trimmed the mat on the front end along the factory 1/4 inch wide trim line (cut it on the outside edge of the line) with a utility knife with plywood under the mat. The rear two corners of the mat did not "notch around" the rear corner posts of the truck bed very well; so, I had to trim a little bit there (1.5 inches by 3 inches approx. to make a larger notch). This mat is as good as my 3 previous mats bought for other trucks in the past from other suppliers of truck accessories. It has bottom side dimples for water drainage; top surface is smooth to grip the beer cooler (to not slide around); it is heavy weight to not blow out of the bed. It has an odor like new tires (which should go away in a few weeks, no biggie); the final fit in the bed is near perfect including the fit around the wheel wells; and it lies flat. I do not know if this mat will fit other trucks.

What a great bed mat. It is very heavy duty and it fits perfectly in the 5 foot bed of my 2012 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab. All I had to do was cut the mat to size along the embossed line that already exists on the mat. This takes it from a 6 footer to a 5 footer. I was able to cut the mat with a box cutter style knife after putting a new blade in it. The mat is tough and strong and heavy. I had looked at some others but didn't want to have to drill holes in my truck bed to install snaps. I don't think this mat will go anywhere as it is pretty heavy. Being a rubber type of surface, nothing will likely slide on it either. I am totally happy with this mat. It is a great addition to my truck. I hope this helps folks make a decision on a bed mat, as I was pretty bewildered by the lack of info out there on bed mats for the short bed Fronty. Oh, and Amazon had it delivered to my house the very next day......talk about great service.

Fits 2022 -- 2024 Nissan Frontier with little trimming required. Mat is thick (3/8"), and normal rubber meaning not the vulcanized particle variety. There are dimples for on the bottom side to permit water drainage and to provide air space for drying; ribbed on top side for traction. Fits new Nissan Frontier with either a 5 FT or 6 FT bed with very little trimming. Difficult to find a mat for a 2022 Frontier with a six-foot bed. Exact fit mats are available for the 6 FT bed for double the price. This mat appears the same as the ones sold twenty years ago. Expect a slight odor for a few days just as new tires. Heat and sun will accelerate the off-gassing of the rubber.

PROS: made of thick and durable rubber; heavy weight; fits perfect after trimming down for 5 foot bed; fair value except for the trimming down part. CONS: hard to trim down for a 5 foot bed. Best tool for me was a medium size and very sharp knife. I tried a box cutter, carpet shears, big scissors, but they were all unable to comfortably cut through the thick rubber mat.

I got this for my 2023 Frontier Pro4x, no one makes a 5 foot bed mat, so this works, a little trimming from the trim line which is on from DEE ZEE mat from the factory, took me 8 minutes to cut, used a utility knife with fresh blade and put a piece of thin plywood under the cut lines, and cut like butter. Mat weighs 40 lbs before the cut 35 lbs after. I couldn't be happier. Thanks DEE ZEE.

Got mat quickly. Heavy duty and a must have

It took me less than 30 minutes to install this heavy duty bed mat. The Nissan provided bed liner is hard and slippery and causes Bear to go "slip sliding away" when he is riding in the bed. I have a Nissan Frontier Crew Cab with a 5 foot bed. Other Frontier's have a 6 foot bed, so the mat manufacturer "scores" the mat at 5 feet. I just cut along the score (free hand) with a box cutter and rolled it into the bed. It fits perfectly! The mat is heavy enough that I didn't need to affix it to the bed and I've driven at freeway speeds (75+) out here and it doesn't budge. Bear is happy and so am I.. I also took the scrap piece and "squared" it up and affixed it to my tailgate. That was not part of the 30 minutes - but it was like getting a free mat. I've attached pics.

After a little trimming on marked line, it fit perfect in my new Frontier. Well made, durable and I love how nothing moves on the mat. Thank you!

As noted by the other reviewers (and Amazon.com reviewers back to 2012), this mat DOES fit Nissan Frontiers - back as far as 2005, according to the label. It would be nice if Amazon corrected their database. It fits my 2017 6' bed perfectly, and there's a scribe mark if you need to cut it back for a 5' bed. It's heavy, lays nice and flat, and is really grippy. Just what I was looking for.

You just need to trim where indicated (soft impression line) to fit the 5 foot bed.
