works as expected ,easy to use, good software (windows 10 only supported) and is accurate.

Like it overall, would not take a good drop for sure. Handle is smooth plastic, needs some friction tape or something to keep from slipping out of hand. Trying to hold and push the buttons in sequence to get an average reading is a little tough. Better to memorize them and write down. Seems good for quick checking, after all , it is still guessing without a full hooded flow meter for accurate readings. But does the job as reference readings.

The BT-856A does measure air velocity and air volume. It is easy to use and provides the data I required. I needed additional sensors and the manufacturer quickly provided an Amazon link to order additional sensors. BTW, the additional sensors were very reasonably priced and arrived quickly.

This is a professional quality meter. For me, the primary purpose was for home HVAC testing/balancing. It performed its job well. Also helps to know temperature of air flowing. One downside was the instructions provided - not well written and not easy to find what you may want to do; even if all the functions are present.

I used the anemometer to help balance a central air conditioning system with this device by taking air flow readings of the entire house and then balancing out the stronger air flow rooms and minimizing them to send more air flow were it was lacking and the home. owner is extremely happy and It wouldn't of been possible with exact measures and readings that this device have me of not i would still be there balancing the house to get it rite

I like this tool works good for comparing fan speed. Helped cure overheating issues.

I just can't trust this meter. It's measurements are conflicting with my other equipment and I've determined it's definitely this meter. Half the time it's correct and the other half is off. I think I may have gotten a bad one. Will not buy again. Disappointed. Other than that it's very readable, easy to use, no issues with battery life, portability, or versatility.

This is a perfect solution for confirming airflow measurements in our fume hoods.
