the size of the main knife?

Size of the main knife is 3" of that 1.3/4 is the actual blade and 1.1/3 serrated blade it also has a safety lock. on the knife part, The other functions of the tool ie carpet knife, file, Philips Screwdriver, bottle opener, flat screwdriver, Saw, can opener, etc click into place when opened but do not lock. overall its not a bad tool, its certainly not a leatherman but then again you can't buy a leatherman pouch for the price of this tool which also includes a belt pouch

Is the pouch molle compatible?

Nope. It's a nice pouch; but at this price the value is in the multitool

Why won’t the blade close ? Horrible design

Because there is a blade lock at the base of the blade, you can feel it the top of the lock has ridges on it, the lock needs to be pushed sideways towards the rest of the knife. I use my thumb to push it inwards towards the rest of the knife. This is a safety feature put on many knives so the blade will not accidentally close. Practice and you can close the blade quickly
