Review: Very good value for money - Having committed to Couch25k I decided I should invest in a pair of trainers. I didn’t want to buy an expensive pair - I hadn’t ever run in my entire 56 years of being born and didn’t expect to make it past the first 60 seconds tbh. I opted for what I considered to be a ‘budget’ trainer! I read the advice to wear trainers half a size larger to avoid losing toenails (as if I would ever build up enough speed or distance!). So I ordered a 7.5 to allow my toenails to remain in their beds and comfortable enough with thicker socks. Perfect size! They inspire me to run because they are neon bright and very very comfortable. So far I have completed my first week and although the air is thicker where I live and thus makes walking and running feel like I am neck deep in molasses - I am enjoying the exercise and the comfort when wearing these trainers. Sadly the comfort stops at my ankles as the rest of my body feels like it’s been 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. Nothing to do with the trainers, just an unfit slightly heavy body - (I am waiting for my new one to arrive in 8 weeks ;) Review: Grey lightweight running trainers - good fit, lightweight, great value for money - Lightweight and comfy. Have been out running in them since they arrived and great fit. Breathable and appear durable. I think they look professional and I like the pattern. I noticed the stitching around the sides of one of the tongues near the base of the tongue inside the trainers had slightly came apart at the seams compared to the other tongue, but other than that, a good value for money purchase.

Fantastic trainers
This is the second pair of these I purchased. From day one, they are like wearing bedroom slippers. They are so comfortable. And as the previous pair I purchased, I expect them to last a long time. I have worn the others for several years and there are no signs of wear. I only purchased a second pair as I used a pressure washer and covered the other pair in sand and dirt. However, a wash under the tap and they have come up like new again (so didn't really need to buy another pair). The design has changed little over the years. Apart from the original trainers having a see through heal, they are almost identical in construction. I have forked out a fortune in trainers, some big name brands costing £100s only to find they have come unstitched or wore out. But these trainers despite their low price are rock solid. I cannot fault them.

Perfect little pair of trainers
To start I have to say I have the black "keep running" ones. (The patterns are a tiny bit more glossy than on the picture. But it's not a bad thing) Wanted to use those shoes for running but I didn't try them yet for running, because I had a knee injury right on the day I received them. I couldn't even walk with sandals because of the shocks it made on my knee. Walking barefoot in my house was difficult. I started wearing those every day and I couldn't even feel my knee anymore! Shock absorption is great, and although it is 28 degrees outside and 70% humidity, I never feel hot in them. When I go back to running in a few weeks I am positive that they will be adapted. I don't know how long they will last, but for the price it doesn't matter if they only last one or two years! But I might be surprised, because they don't feel cheap. SIZE: When I bought them they didn't have my size (39 - 6UK), so I bought a size larger (6,5UK - so around 39,5), and I received a size 40. At first I got scared but they fit perfectly! My advice would be to take one size larger than it really is because I don't think a normal 6UK would have fit me as much.

Okay but not great
I got these trainers as a cheaper alternative, but unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. They're okay, but I'd recommend going up a price bracket or two for a much better, lasting quality. I didn't find these that comfortable when running, even though I did have the right size, and they didn't feel that breathable or bouncy. Grip was okay but could be better. The look isn't that appealing, as to be expected of a cheaper shoe. These are fine if you need value but I'll personally be sticking with higher end options as they are much more comfortable and have better value in the long run as you'll get more use out of a better trainer than this.

Avoid not a running shoe!
I brought these as cheaper alternatives to more luxurious brands out in the current market. The appearance does definitely have same design and appearance of a running but you actually start running in them you will notice the difference. The lack of cushioning was first I noticed it was like i was running on bare feet just after 1km. This quite important in terms if you a long distance or road runner. Lack of cushioning will hamper your performance and make you more fatigue quicker. Also the grip is not as effective on wet conditions. Overall this shoe should be avoid if you going to use it for running maybe ok for other sports or fitness activities, but definitely not for running, factoring it all round the price did not seem cheap either when you considering you actually pick a pair discounted Adidas or similarly running shoe out there. Therefore my advice is pay that few extra pound or use your money for better brands at discounted prices.

Lightweight and comfortablr everyday trainers
Was worried these would be cheap and flimsy but they are not. They are very comfortable, nice padding which means your feet will not hurt after wearing them for many hours. Brother has wearing these a lot as he likes understated simple trainers and these are everything he was after. They are lightweight and do not get creased in the toe area like AF1s do. Overall, they are not bad at all for the price and they are the correct size.

Light, not bad comfort, fine for walking.
Update after nearly a year and over 500 miles. I'm still wearing them, although the heels are pretty much worn through. They lasted much better than expected (I'm happy with 500 miles or about 1 million steps) and if they were still available in my size I'd buy again. Only color available now seems to be blue, I'm going to try another Ubfen pair that look better suited to running for now and see if the brand holds up. Update after 6 weeks and 120 miles. I'd say they are holding up quite well, there is noticeable wear on the heels, but that's partly my walking style. I received my NB 520v7 shoes, and these are actually a bit more comfortable. THe NB shoes are a LOT lighter though at 280g vs 400g, but their insole is like a couple of sheets of paper in comparison. They are keeping the 4 star rating for the moment. I'd had these for a weekend and put 20k steps on. So far so good for walking, with a small diversion on a rocky shoreline. I'm sure these would be fine in the gym, although I'd be hesitant to recommend for running. I'm used to a running shoe with a more rounded sole and a bit more shock absorbtion. I bought uk size 10.5 and they fit fine. I have slightly wider feet, and have no issues with these, so if you have narrow feet, that might be a problem. At just over 30 quid they really fall into a grey area between 15 quid Asda specials, and a regular brand on offer. I have a pair of sub 40 quid New Balance 520v6 on order, and I'll be curious to compare, especially with durability.

Klare Kaufempfehlung😀
