Very distinctive, smell pleasant

I have a tester of Creed Viking sitting right here on my desk and this "Fragrence Club" product isn't even in the same state, much less the ballpark. Had high hopes, but for naught. Is it possible that this is a "Friday at 5 lemon" where a nose-blind mixer was rushing out the door and just mixed the wrong ingredients? It first hits you with a whiff of synthetic spearmint and then gives you a hint of those stale "jawbreaker" gumballs that have been sitting in a quarter-operated dispenser outside the Piggly Wiggly all summer. Don't know how you could get this fragrance and Creed Viking mixed up. Hey, I have no dog in this fight other than my $36 bucks that have been wasted. Me? I won't have the stuff in my house. It's double zip locked in the car outside and on its way to the trash. I guess this falls into the Amazon's "no return" policy, but it smells like what it is: cheap perfume. Yuck.

This was a blind purchase after trying the creed aventus version and I'm happy with it. Longevity could be better but it might just be me. Scent is amazing though.

When this got here I sprayed it on one hand and sprayed the other with a small sample of Viking I had. Whereas Viking is a darker, spicy scent reminiscent of apple pie or pumpkin; this was lighter, fresher scent more akin to spicy peppermint. Didn't smell terrible; but a bit of a disinfectant-ish hint before drydown that goes along with these cheaper brands. I'll probably still wear it, but if you are expecting an exact clone of Creed Viking you are going to be disappointed.

Have Viking, and a version of Viking oil, this cologne smells nothing like either. Not a bad scent, but definitely not a 30 value.

I have the real Creed Viking and this smells as close as you can get. Worth it.
