Works as a great water barrier in ADA shower

I bought this item to address water runoff from my newly installed curbless shower. As a little background, I had a curbless shower created in my backyard “granny flat”. I chose a curbless shower, so that someone who is handicapped could roll their wheelchair directly into the shower area. The opening to the shower is about 30 inches between the wall and the glass partition. However, the water from the waterfall shower and even the handheld sprayer was just pouring out of the shower, no matter how careful we were. As I did not want to undo the curbless design, I went in search of a simple solution. This thick silicone curb fits the bill. I did have to trim it to adjust for the length of the shower opening. I wash the floor and then let it dry. Then it’s basically a peel and stick to the floor across the opening of my shower floor. It has a triangular shape. But it’s soft because it is silicone, so easy to glide over in a wheelchair. I did not use any other glue or caulking that was manufacturer recommended. So far, the peel & stick curb is adhering to the tile, and there is absolutely no water running out along the floor. We have tested it about it dozen times so far. I figure even if it lasts a year and I have to replace it, it is money well spent. The shipping was also very fast. So five stars all the way!

I like the material. It's easy to shape and cut with exacto-knife. It sticks well to finished hardwood floor. I haven't had a leak so cannot speak to water blockage, but see no reason why it would not.

Solution for shower sliding doors- we installed this part behind the glass door & adding silicone in the front. We Couldn’t figure out what else would work since the sliding door would hit the metal piece ?!?! Can’t even tell since it’s slightly hidden . First shower& or worked - thrilled

This product did not work. We installed it just as the instructions stated but it did not work. The adhesive lifted up and it also leaked water. We tried to use this around the base of a shower door and after 24 hours the floor was soaking wet. Very disappointed.

Holding up good for now. We also put a thin bead of silicone on both ends and no water goes under it.

It stops the water from running over the tub on to the floor when taking a shower

I like the product but whe I was installing , part of the glue strip came of when I pulled the strip to expose it!! But I removed all the remaining glue and siliconed it to the shower base and I'm really happy with the end result!!

Garbage. I sealed it with a leak seal spray and it still leaked. I can’t return it because I’m afraid to pull it up and damage the surface. $70+ wasted because unfortunately I bought 2.
