Just got back from a family wedding and had lots of different Margaritas and my favorite was a Tamarind with a spicy salt rim! This brings me back to great parties.

I tried the ready mix Tamorindo and found it wasn't as good as when my Mother made it ywears ago. My brother reminded me that she used a syrup and mixed it with water. I saw this and ordered it and it met my expectations. You can mix as much as you like to get the taste you want. My mother used to put in fresh orange, lemon and lime. Keep in mind that this is extremely sweet so those with sugar issues shoud probably avoid this.

I use this as a dip for samosas and naan bread, and to make Tamarindo margaritas. This is probably one of the best cocktail syrups I’ve ever used. It’s not overly sweet like some syrups are. Great quality, highly recommend.

It's a little water down compared to Peach and lavender.

I bought this for making margaritas and between this and some other products, there will be a lot of margaritas before I need to buy these flavors again. There are so many products for making custom margaritas… I have enough different seasoning ideas that I could make a bar that specialized in margaritas. Jimmy Buffett would not even be consulted… Tamarindo has been one of my all-time favorite flavorings for margaritas for a good reason! It's one of the most complementary flavors for a margarita I've ever had in my entire life. Updated nine 9-19-25 --- I used to buy a tequila liqueur to get the same tamarind seasoning in my margaritas… it was a fantastic addition, but this syrup does the same thing with a lot more bang for your buck.
