Are there 2 boxes containing 3 4 gram packets? Or a total of 6 4 gram packets?

2 boxes, each has 3 packets of 4 gms each for a total of 6 packets of 4 gms each. The calculation is the same. If you are dosing it for JT's protocol, 1 gm is 1/4 tsp. You'd have 24 doses.

for a 100+ pound dog i would give 2.5 packets once for 3 days, so i would need 3 seperate boxes of 3 packages to treat?

1 gram treats 10#; a hundred-pound dog then needs ten grams per day; Each of those packets contain 4 grams, so yes, you would need 2.5 packets per day. I'd order 3 boxes. FBZ has poor bioavailability; this is not going to hurt your dog.

what is the expiration or use-by date for these boxes/pouches?

The expiration date appears on the packet inside the box. You have to buy it to find out what's in it. My experience, the expiration has been a year later than my date of purchase.
