These are perfect
Other reviews are correct, the bulb itself doesn't match the photo, the bulbs are shorter. It's an old photo of the Philips brand I used for years. But here's the thing, Philips doesn't make these any more, even if you go to Home Depot or Lowes you can't find them. Everything in those stores is this new, shorter shape, but they are nearly $8 apiece! So I ordered these. They fit perfectly in my halogen bath light fixtures just as before, and even more importantly, the light they produce exactly matches the light from the older Philips bulbs. I was concerned it would look funny if the light was brighter, or dimmer, or whiter than the older ones (I have 6 lights in my bath fixtures and only needed to replace 2 of them). I've had them about 6 weeks so I can't speak to overall longevity, but so far they are working perfectly! So happy about the price too!

Why buy expensive bulbs, when these are the same thing.
We have been getting replacement bulbs for our bathroom light, at a light store. They were costing us around $15 a piece, but then we found these on amazon and they work great. Bought 4 for the price of 1, a great find.

It's just a lightbulb, a good, reliable, cheap lightbulb.
Bought these replacement bulbs for a much cheaper price here than we would have in store. There's nothing special about them, other than the fact that they are cheaper and the same as you'd buy at Lowes or Home Depot for much cheaper. We bought them to go in our ceiling fans, and they do their job pretty well. Nothing life changing here, but if you're looking for a cheaper bulb that works, this is your product!

Great value for 4 bulbs, since there hard too get for a fan I have with this style. Let me clarify this for all the bad reviews. They came in very secure. Yes the light bulbs are shorter than the ones advertised. But hello people.. same voltage, same output. They are nice and bright. light up a dark room. Why complain about a shorter length in glass bulb. That makes no sense to me. But hey, If it fits, and works, it's for me. Take it or leave it. You wont regret the output...
