Paw Patrol Phonics Box Set (PAW Patrol) (Step into Reading)

This collection comes with 12 little, short stories tailored for children who are learning to read. It's great too for your very young non reader, as the pictures are bringht and eye catching. They use phonetical structures in the stories to help your child learn to read. But it is definitely something you do with your child. There is also a user manual inside that tells you how to use the system. Great product.

Excellent book for little beginners! My son loves to read it every night, and we were looking for new options to add to his collection. I definitely recommend this book—the pages are adorable, durable, and flexible, so they last a really long time.

Nice box set for a birthday present for 6 year old!

I did not pay attention to the size in the item description, and did not look at any of the reviews before purchasing, so I was VERY surprised when I first saw the package. These books are VERY small. That being said, after the initial shock wore off, I think they might be just perfect for little hands. Yes, the books are small to me, but I didn’t purchase them for me, I bought them for my 5 and 6 year olds. The covers seem sturdy, and the pages are of good quality. When you start book 1, there are just a few words on each page, perfect for brand new beginning readers. I love how each new book introduces a new phonics rule, along with new sight words, blending sounds, and Paw Patrol words so they are learning more and more words as they go, all while reinforcing ones they’ve already learned. As your kids progress through the books they get a little bit harder and have more words on each page. I also like how at the beginning of the book it lists the new words they will be learning, so you can practice with your child before they start to read the story. All in all, I give these books 2 thumbs up!! My kids are both very excited to start reading them, and even though my newly 5-year-old hasn’t started reading yet, she loves ALL THINGS PAW PATROL, and is just as excited for them as my new reader. Fantastic learning tool with his favorite characters.

Good service

I give them a 3 out of 5 because my kids love Paw Patrol and love book sets but these are NOT phonics based books. Step Into Reading once again fails to understand phonics and leveled readers for kids. I already have my feelings on sight words that are not true sight words but the ones introduced even in book 1 are not appropriate for the first book in the set. They are also not the best quality but you get what you pay for. If your child likes books and Paw Patrol I recommend them to add to your collection but these do not seem like they will last.

My grandson loved the books

Ideal set of books to initiate reading for young kids with CVC reading exposure. Each book at the beginning spells out what it covers wrt reading and introduces the sight words so that you get along reading and remembering them. Added bonus if the kids are Paw Patrol fans.

Great for learning to read. A bit difficult to read to children as its a stuttered composition to enable first time readers to grasp but it's a great set for Paw Patrol fans who want to learn to read.

This is an excellent little box set to help your child learn to read. My son is learning at school and brings books home to read he can do it burgundy the books boaring but because he loves paw patrol he loves to read them to me They are very simple ( spot ran and ran ) short easy words but my son loves that he can read them to me I would highly recommend them

Great way to slowly advance the basic reading words of a kindergartener with the heroes they love!!

Die Box enthält 12 kleine, dünne Büchlein, mit denen kleine Kinder die engliche Sprache dank der Paw Patrol Zeichnungen erlernen sollen. Auf der linken Seite steht jeweils ein Satz/kuzer Text, rechts ein Bild der Paw Patrol-Serie. Unser kleiner Fan ist begeistert. Schulenglisch reicht für Eltern auch aus, um die englischen Texte zu übersetzen. Die Größe der Bücher ich mit Pixi-Büchern vergleichbar, die Seiten bestehen auch hier aus dünnem Papier. Reißfest ist es also nicht, aber in Ordnung. Auch die Pappbox zur Aufbewahrung ist sehr hübsch bedruckt mit den typischen Bildern.
