This brace was a huge disappointment. I've got scoliosis and herniated disks. I've had a spinal fusion & an additional back surgery, yet my back continues to bend. I ordered this brace while healing from a broken back. I've tried more than a dozen braces to stop the bending and improve my worsening posture and obvious pain. I was hoping this unusual brace would be the magical cure. Unfortunately, nothing!The brace is very comfortable, far more than any other I've tried. However the large was much too big for my 140 lb, 5'4-1/2" frame. The upper straps cupped my neck and were visible regardless of attempts to hide them in various garments. Perhaps because it was to large, there was absolutely no tension on my back whatsoever. I did like the way the front straps very comfortably hooked around my waist.I've given up hoping for a cure from a brace. Doctors tell me only physical therapy or additional surgery will help, so I've stopped purchasing braces and have begun therapy.

The BaX-u posture support is by far the best one. I am very satisfied with it's performance and it does the job well beyond all expectations. I wear it often all day without any discomfort. Neck and shoulder pains are GONE. It is exceptionally useful for computer sessions and driving. In fact, I miss it when I DON'T wear it! I've used a BaX-u now for several months. I just can't say enough GOOD things about BaX-u. A job well done. Many thanks.I especially like it for it's conceal-ability under clothing, lightweight, no bulkiness, and extremely comfortable. I've tried and used other posture correction devices, finding most too bulky and uncomfortable in hot weather. Other devices often restrict back and shoulder movements too much. The BaX-u doesn't cause problems.I bought the white BaX-u to avoid any color bleed issues I've heard about with the black dye staining clothing. I've just ordered two more white BaX-u posture correctors, so I can rotate use, thus extending their life. I've also discovered that using a posture correction device during my daily treadmill workout quashes any neck and shoulder pains completely. I do, however, use a different brand for the treadmill time, when issues of bulkiness, conceal-ability, and sweat soiling don't matter. Furthermore, there's no point in beating up a BaX-u for treadmill duty!

I use the computer a lot, and I was looking for something to help me not to slouch after a while and with better circulation so I wouldn't get neck and shoulder tension, and pinched nerves shooting down all the way in my arm and wrist.This velcro strap doesn't do anything that was said it would. First of all it did not come with the neck cushion that was on their website to support the neck. Second if I adjust the shoulder velcro to make it tighter to pull my shoulders back, then the whole thing pulls up, and guess where my breasts go? They get pushed up so high that it was just too funny. And I still felt nothing between my shoulderblades where all that tension was built up from sitting and slouching so much. I called the company to ask for their help, if I was adjusting it wrong or whether I needed a different size, and they never called me back. Oh and the package it came in had an informative brochure in it with their phone number: 1-866-BACK(2225). Try calling that number, it's a little short. I had to research them on the internet to find out that their number is 1-866-866-BACK. Left a voice mail, never heard from them.On the other hand, I highly recommend PERFECTORE! [...]you can order it from amazon. it is a little more expensive, but it works, and they will call you back the very next day. This lady spent almost 30 minutes on the phone with me and walked me through on how to adjust it to my body size and how to use my posture transformer for maximum results. And it works! She recommended that I can sit on the handles, she said try slouching now! and she laughed :)

Perhaps I bought the wrong size, but the measurements in the description indicated I needed a medium which I think is too large. It does not fit well, nor does it give much if any at all support no matter how tight we adjust the straps. And, it certainly can not be worn underneath clothes without being totally conspicuous. It's too much of a hassle to return this one (and the black one I also bought), so I'll wear them around the house over my clothes if nothing else to remind me to stand & sit up straight. A large investment for very little return.

I received my bax-u 2 days after I ordered it. Unfortunately they sent me a small when I had ordered a medium but I emailed them that day and received the correct size within about 4 days.I have degenerative disc disease and have had 5 cervical fusions and 5 low back surgeries so my posture has gotten really bad over the years and my middle back seems to be taking all the pressure and hurts like crazy all the time so was really hoping this would help. It does help my posture a lot which does help with my middle back pain, but it also puts a lot of pressure on the back of my neck. The picture shows it further down on the back but is actually a lot higher up (or at least on me) so it kinda pushes my neck forward so I'm not able to wear it for long periods of time. For anyone that does not have neck problems this would probably be perfect.Also they advertise that this is medicare approved but they do not send you an invoice to be able to send to your insurance company. I have asked several times and was told they would send it immediately but I still have not gotten one.
