Poolvergnuegen Suction Pool Cleaner (4 Wheel) Pools up to 20 x 40ft

Works great. Doesn’t climb my pool walls very far due to my suction line being compromised due to a small crack (bubbles present from the jets). Been using it 8 weeks now. Cleans my small/mid size 15,000 gallon (8.5 foot at the deep end) pool well. Climbs easily to the 4’ shallow end regularly. The pool floor is spotless. Runs 6 hours a day with the pump. This is a tremendous value compared to the more complex popular cleaners. I am thrilled with the value. It had stopped moving once shortly after we first got it. I easily took off the cover to see inside, and found one of the vanes had shifted to the side and hung up on the housing. Slid it over 1/16 of an inch and tested that everything moved freely again, then put it back together. Works perfectly again. I give it a solid 5 stars.

A friend's pool guy recommended this cleaner and I have to agree it does a great job. I can't get it to climb the walls but it cleans up all the leaves at the bottom of the pool every night. I have a lot of trees and shrubs that shed constantly and this cleaner rarely gets jammed up - I'm always emptying the leaf catcher, and not unclogging the cleaner itself - that's a great thing! Definitely worth the expense.

I have had nothing but issues with every vacuum I have put in my pool. A friend suggested a sweep similar to this one. Once the current sweep I had needed repairs, I decided to purchase a new one. After a month of researching new sweeps, I purchased this sweep. After getting it put together correctly, this thing works great. It has picked up leaves and sticks with no issues yet. My pool is cleaner than it has been in years and I do not have to babysit the sweep every night to make sure it’s not stuck thinking about picking up a grain of dirt. The only issue I had was the swivel was not fully assembled. It came with a white ring and a blue ring, but was not identified in the instructions. I watched a few videos to see if I could figure it out and found these rings keep the swivel attached to the housing. If they are not installed, the swivel sucks down agains the turbine and causes a massive vibration. The rings have to be pressed on and do take some good force to get them seated. I am very happy with the sweep so far and it sounds like very low maintenance, longer intervals between having to maintenance the sweep.

We just purchased this less than a month th ago. It works great, was worried at first. It climbs, it moves it sweeps it grooves. Love love it...

It took a little time to put together, but not difficult. Works very well. Good suction- Picks up all the debris from the bottom of the pool. Does NOT climb walls- it tries, then just stalls at the bottom of wall until it gives up and moves on. They give you hints on how to create more section to get to climb the wall, I tried all of those, but it does not work.

Absolute waste of money. This vacuum will run for 15 minutes max, then just fall on its side, wheels spinning. It doesn’t right itself, it just lays there. Absolutely useless. I have to check on it hourly, pull the hose to get is back on its wheels, then it rolls around but eventually falls over and stops cleaning. It doesn’t clean walls, just the pool floor (when it’s actually moving). Looking to replace this POS ASAP.

Doesn't climb walls. Gets stuck in the same direction up against a wall. Wears out the tires unevenly. Not worth the money to me.

My second one. First lasted 5 years of constant 365 days a year, 4 hrs per day 16500 gallon freshwater pool. I like the replaceable wheels, changed tires once a year. Excellent job on pool floors and walls. Combine with an inline canister filter to limit pump filter clogging. First one was white , new one is gray. Looks like gray is up rezistent (not stated by Hayward.
