Limo Tint Car Sun Window Shade Visor Shades Sunshade Visors Extender 2 Pack

I bought the Tuck Visor with Limo Tint because the sun visor in my car is way too short to keep the sun from scorching my face through the driver's side window. Just as advertised, these little things are very easy to install. And they keep my face cool from the sun. Overall, I really like them. But they could be improved with two minor adjustments. First, these need to be available in a few different sizes, so we can select whatever size is closest to the width or height that we prefer. Shopping is becoming far too constrained and standardized, with so many products only available in "one size fits all". And we all know that one size never fits all. Second, these should come with a couple of narrow strips of double-sided tape. This is the key to keeping these Tuck Visors firmly in place... and preventing them from falling down when the window is opened. I noticed that quite a few people are having trouble with these visors falling off of their windows. Here's how I eliminated that problem in my Mazda. I got a couple of strips of clear double-sided tape... the thin clear tape, not the thick foam stuff. I cut the strips down to 1/8" wide and placed them along the top edge of the Tuck Visor, stopping about one inch away from the side edge. Leaving the paper backing on the tape for now, I opened the window a little bit and placed the visor against the window. After carefully lining up the top edge of the Tuck Visor with the top edge of the window, I slid the visor sideways, pushing the side edge of the visor underneath the felt lining that goes down the side of the window frame. Making sure that the top edge was still lined up perfectly, I bent the Tuck Visor back and removed the paper backing from the tape. And then, just pressed the top edge against the window again, making sure that it was firmly stuck in place and perfectly flat. Now, my visors never fall down when I open the window. It might sound a bit complicated from my description. But with a little bit of patience, it was extremely easy to do. And I'm very happy with these visors now.

You can see easily through the tinted visor version, but they could be a little darker, and come down 2 inches further as they will not block a sun on the horizon. That being said, these are WAY WAY too expensive for what you get. A pair of these should cost no more than half of what is charged, shipped. However, since there are no other options, I had no other choices. One-star for cost. Four-stars for utility value.

These are hard plastic, see-through shades that provide good protection from the sun. I have been in cars that come equipped with double visors for each front seat, so you can have one folded down to the front and the second one swung out and folded down to the side. This should be made widely available as an option by manufacturers, as it is a wonderful option to have when you're on a curvy road on a bright sunny day and you're a short person and the sun is always hitting you in the eyes. I was actually searching to see if somebody made a visor that would clip tightly to the inside edge of my visor that would swing out sideways, but apparently nobody's thought of doing that. These shades are not long enough to cover the entire upper edge of my driver's side window. I ordered the double pack and put one as far forward on the window as it would go, and the second one as far back in the window as possible. This gives me not only total protection, but also a significant area of overlap that gives extra sun blocking capabilities. Some people complained and even posted pictures of these things arriving all crumpled up. I don't know if they've changed the material, but the ones I received, as stated at the top, are a hard plastic and impossible to crumple up. Amazon shipped them in a big flat box and they arrived in perfect condition. The only downside I've experienced is that since they tuck into the upper edge of the window instead of actually sticking to the glass as vinyl would, when you roll your window down at a drive-through they fall right off and when you're done and you roll your window back up, you have to position them back up all over again. That's an unfortunate bit of aggravation but I don't go through a drive-through that often so I can deal with it. Otherwise I'm pleased and they do a great job!

It’s good idea to put on and remove but when ever you want to open the door it came right off and easily scratched on first use. Also can’t open the window. Maybe better if it’s little bigger and adhesive

It's a great idea, cheaply made. It's a piece of plastic, probably costs 50 cents to manufacture, and after one year of use, it's bubbling and falling apart. I mean, come on! They also never stay in place, which is a driving hazard if it falls on you while driving. (Has happened many times!) Again, love the concept, but disappointed in the poor quality.

Simple concept, but works great. This time of year the sun is blinding. This shade works great.

Window tent visor is very helpful to dime the sun in the side window of my RAV4. Stays in place real well. Over all great for traveling to protect your eyes from the sun. I can see through it . That is a plus. Not recommended if you're putting your window down. At boarder checks it will fall off. Mine almost fell in with the side window. And it will not stay on the front window.

WONDERFUL product. BUT: You will need at least moderate finger strength to FORCEFULLY insert it deeply into the upper corner of the window with the window closed. AND. DON'T buy the "Blackout" option, because this will totally black out vision through the visor. SO: DO buy the "LIMO TINT"" option, because this will black out only 95% of the sun, while giving you significant vision through the visor. SUCH a WONDERFUL product for people who have at least moderate finger strength !
