Works on PVC joint leaks!
I re-plumbed my Pool filter PVC piping system and installed all new valves. When I went to start up the filter, I had some minor leaks. I coated all of the joints with Plast-Aid with 3-4 coats, let it dry for 15 mins, and tested. This product fixed the issues and saved me a lot of time and money. The pool tech told me all the plumbing needed to be cut out and rebuilt to resolve the leaks. Yes, this product is somewhat expensive but well worth it.

Works Great!!
Other than the time it took to arrive; was worth the wait. We had pin holes in PVC by the filter. We called a friend that’s in the business & said “ This is the only one he uses!

Product less than half the size. Cost more
The product works great to repair many things. Problem is it costs more money now & you get less than half of the product . Cant recomend anymore because theres not enough to do much with it. J B works well too and is much cheaper! New bottles on the right. It was a great product. Way too expensive now.

Product really works and saved me a ton of money!
I purchased this to attempt a DIY repair on some hairline cracks in the shell of my hot tub. I was skeptical, but figured it was worth the risk. This stuff is amazing! I mixed up a small amount in a plastic container, stirred it a bit as it thickened, and dabbed it onto the cracks. The instructions explain that it will thicken over the course of a few minutes, which it did. (If I ever have to do this again, I'll be a little quicker about getting it onto the tub surface when it's more freely flowing.) It dried and formed a hard bond with the shell. The shell is white so the repair is pretty much invisible. You should know that this stuff stinks to high heaven before it dries, so do your mixing outdoors or in an area with good ventilation.

Works well, would recommend a test run
I bought this product to repair a Jacuzzi tub with two 1/4 inch chips in the bottom. The product definitely worked to repair the chips, but I would have done things a little differently in hindsight. Although the powder looks white, the final hardened product is a cloudy clear. Although I cleaned the chips as well as possible, there was some staining I couldn't get rid of. Those stains show through the patches. According to the manufacturer's site, you can color Plast-aid with acrylic paint, which would have been a good idea in my case. Also, I would recommend not using any more than you absolutely need, as sanding down even small lumps is a little difficult. However, the product did the job, and the repairs have been holding for three months with multiple daily uses of the tub. The bottle is more than enough for a number of small repairs. I'm definitely saving the rest to use in the future. As stated by others, the smell is very strong. It smells like a stronger version of the material they use for acrylic nails at a salon. The smell does go away completely as soon as the product is dry, which doesn't take long. I did notice that the liquid bottle emitted some odor after it had fallen over in my toolbox, so I would suggest storing these upright after use. Overall, I would recommend this product, but I would suggest doing a test run before starting the real repair.

Did The Job!
The 90-degree PVC elbow connecting my second story toilet and tub drains to the vertical soil stack started leaking. Obviously, a bad solvent cement job when the house was built. I was able to thread sandpaper and a cloth behind the 3-inch pipe and cleaned the pipe as thoroughly as I could, only being able to see behind the pipe with a mirror. Because the backside of the pipe was so hard to access, I bought some acid brushes and daubers to reach the back. I bent the dauber so it would contact the pipe more completely. Then I applied 5 coats of Plast-Aid completely around the pipe, letting each coat dry thoroughly for a day or two. I have flushed the toilet several times over the course of a week and there is no evidence of leaking. I should point out this was a small leak and the DWV pipe is not under pressure, just drains by gravity. I cannot express how relieved I am that this seems to have worked. Because of the location of the pipe between the first and second stories, the plumber told me he would have to open the upstairs bathroom's tile floor and subfloor costing thousands to reconstruct. I will update the review if the Plast-Aid fails down the road. So far so good!
