100 LORD Super Stainless Double Edge Safety Razor Blades

Legs: Best blades I've found
First up: I'm a lady. I use these to shave my legs. When I first switched to safety razors from expensive (SO expensive), plastic razors of many varieties that never ceased to end in razor burn for my crazy sensitive skin, I bought a trial pack of blades from my local apothecary and I liked these the most by far.NOTE: do this! You don't know what blades will work best for you without trying out a few first, so I recommend picked up a variety pack if you don't know what brand to buy. Not all brands work for everyone, including this one. That said, I have very sensitive skin that breaks out from just about every irritant, and I have been using these blades now for about 4 years - yes they are sharp, because they are actually high-quality razor blades. That also means they cut fast and evenly. There is a learning curve with safety razors and I still knick myself from time to time, but I have never gotten razor burn in that time. For me, razor burn can last days and get worse as the hair grows back - that does not happen with these at all.Added bonus: CHEAP!! I am still working on the 100 pack I bought 4 years ago. Compare that to online shaving subscriptions that call themselves cheap and send bad blades, those crazy expensive 6-pack shaving heads for plastic razors that all go in the landfill, etc. We're talking $10 for 4 years of (good) shaving. That's insane.I use a safety razor with a good textured handle for soapy grip in the shower/tub, these blades, a proper rose-scented shaving soap (amazon doesn't allow other brands named, but it's in a beige tub and ends with 'umpers'), and a big shaving brush (I don't remember the brand, it was the biggest one my local store sold - I wanted more surface area coverage than a man's face). It works great and I swear my hair doesn't grow back as fast as it did with those crappy razors, probably because it actually cuts it at the skin level vs shreds it weird as you shave upwards. I shave down now btw - with the grain, not against like you have to with bad razors that don't actually cut well. This further helps prevent irritation and razor bumps - I barely ever get razor bumps/ingrown hairs anymore.Hope this helps! I actually still have some razors left, but my husband started using these for his face and likes them, and I'm afraid these will be discontinued since we buy them so infrequently - stocking up!

Impressed and satisfied with these blades
I started using these blades a little over one year ago and am extremely impressed with the craftsmanship, sharpness and overall quality. I’ve used feather, dorco, merkur and shark in the past and these lord blades are my favorite. I have very coarse hair and these blades cut through it no problem. I usually get two to three shaves out of each blade but due to the coarseness of my hair and price per blade I use one blade per shave. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

Scrape hair off your face with relative comfort and thrift!
I have been using a Parker 96R safety razor for about five years now and these blades seem to do the trick for me. The key seems to be swapping out a new blade when it feels like it's starting to pull a bit, and, assuming your technique is correct, the shave is always as comfortable as scraping hair off your face with a sharp piece of metal can ever be. I get about 3-5 shaves out of each blade and I have a mix of softer and coarser whiskers (round the chin being particularly thick and coarse). Even if I tossed blades every other shave, this would still be a great deal compared to the absurd expense of those three-, four-, and five-blade monstrosities. If it is of any help, I typically shave mornings following a shower and I build a lather directly on my face with a badger hair brush loaded with hot water and C.O. Bigelow Premium Shave Cream.

after that its pretty smooth and gives you a good clean close shave
the only downside to these razors, at least for myself, is that on the first shave i tend to get knicked a lot. But, after that its pretty smooth and gives you a good clean close shave.

Fair shave
These offer a descent shave but only good for one use.

Good for me
Choosing a Double Edge razor refill brand is a highly personal choice. It is going to depend on your skin type, shaving style and the aggressiveness of the razor you are using. But, the LORD Super Stainless is the best for my combination and I tried more than 2-dozen different brands/finishes. I use it to shave both face and head.Nice durability, too. I can go a month without replacement, if I want. Though, they are cheap enough that I usually swap out on a weekly basis.

The Best Blades I've Tried
In the sea of various brands of razor blades, these just strike the perfect balance of cutting ability and smoothness for me. I went through all sorts of blades before I landed on these, and these have proven more reliable for a perfect shave than any other brand, whether in a more aggressive or milder razor. And for the price, you certainly can't beat them.

My go to blade.
Great blades. They're a good balance of agressiveness and mildness. I have fairly sensitive skin and these irritate it less. I usually get 4 shaves out of one with either a Gillette fat boy or a Rockwell 6s.
