Solid build, quirky operation
Solidly built. Controls/buttons a little awkward to work with. Terribly annoying is that the light comes on when the alarm goes off in morning. No way to change that. The alarm is good because it quietly starts and increaseds in volume (increases a bit too quickly) -- but that light coming on completely defeats the purpose of the alarm's design and is terribly troubling because I get up hours before my wife and it disrupts her sleep. Had to take bulb out and that defeats the purpose of having the lamp.

You can dim the clock! Every alarm clock needs this. #1 feature that sets it apart form the oodles of junky clocks. The light doesn't dim however. it's very easy to set the time and alarm or pair to my phone.
