Not battery operated
It comes with a battery but it's one that provides memory only.... this is for when the main power is plugged out.It comes with a USB and a busy shopper like myself, may not realise that this USB is to be permanently attached to an external power supply. I'm giving this to my 9 year old son as it was for my floating shelf above my desk area but the lead looks messy.Other than that, if it was battery operated i would have given it 5 stars as it's cute. Would be nice if there was a better advertisement saying NOT BATTERY OPERATED.

Too loud and bright . Worked for 6 months only.
It’s too loud when setting up. Have to set up alarm under the blanket not to wake everybody up. You can’t make it quieter. Maybe I just was too used to my old alarm clock. And it’s too bright for bedroom,like sleeping with lights on.Update: Stoped working after 6 months.

Alarm clock
Nice looking clock with large bright display. However, the instructions are written by someone whose first language isn’t English. It’s possible to work out what they mean or stagger through the set up process by trial and error but better English would have help this old technophobe!!!

Too bright of a night
A lovely clock during the day but far too bright for night time. Even if you d it. We have to put a cloth over it or it lights up the whole room

Bright Alarm Clock and good sound and easy to use.
This is a great clock, got set up reasonably easily. Clock has 3 light setting, so bright in the day, duller at night if you want. Easy to change the alarm clock for different wake up times. The alarm is loud, so shouldn’t sleep through it and if hit snooze, will go off again, you can set this from 5 minutes snooze to one hour. Also easy to just turn off alarm, if don’t need it for every day.The mirror is a bonus for a quick make up check.
