A great follow up to the first manga.
I really enjoyed this manga better than the first one. I like the new take on Super God Masterforce and the art styles, though I do wish Scorponok appeared more in The Headmasters series chapters. It is a good book to get if you are a fan of the Japanese Transformers series.

Nice Volume 2
Beside Volume 1, there is volume 2 for Japanese Transformers. This Chapter is about Head Masters. I really pleased for it. Can't wait for the Volume 3.

Masterfoooooooooooooorce!
The Art style, reminicent to the Japanese block art. Beautiful, detailed, dynamic, fluid yet kind of stiff. I really LOVE IT! The writing. The writer utilized many charcters and TF abilities you would read in the TF techspecs that were just glossed over in the show and the Marvel comic. This time a completely new take over the Sunbow show over the original Marvel comic. The manga spans The Headmasters to Masterforce. It is actually around 2025 where a hidden contingent of Autobots have been already living among humans since the Neolithic era of human civilization giving rise to many a folklore of gods and demons who are actually Pretender Autobots and Decepticons. Another class of TF also make debuts aka the JP analogs of the Powermasters known as Godmasters! For those already familiar with the Shout! Masterforce DVDs, this is a must to own because it focuses on the backstories and technicalities of the Masterforce deus ex machina that were glossed in the anime (lessens the confusion) on who or what are the Godmasters. Though even in the end, it still is a bit confusing.Must buy for TF fans!

Beautiful volume, silly content.
From the perspective of an adult collector, this is an excellent reproduction of the early comics, which, as we saw in volume one, is pretty inconsequential and does not meaningfully contribute to the cartoon. This contains largely retellings of events seen in the shows Headmasters and Master force. Rather than supplimentary material like we saw in volume 1, this is material intended to recreate existing episodes. Volume 3 is expected to be more significant to the cartoon-watcher, as it includes new stories that continue where the show left off: Zone and Battlestars.

Stunning book and perfectly packaged for collectors.
This thing is beautiful. Perfect packaging and therefore perfect condition upon arrival. The packaging would have withstood a nuclear detonation! The book really is wonderful as well. If you are interested in the Japanese side of G1 beyond the 3 original cartoon series (plus Zone and Scramble City of course) that they produced, then this is an amazing book to have and get into. Get the other 2 as well. Illustrations and quality of the print are stunning. Plus with being Japanese, its backwards from a Western perspective, which is novel in itself (excuse the pun) and pretty fun and unique. Fabulous book and worth every penny and more.
