I won't go and dis any of the models of popular stirring plates out there. I bought one, then ended up buying a set of ten 1" stirring bars to compensate for the inadequacies of the stirring plate I purchased, while at the same time buying another stirring plate for twenty bucks more than the first, and found that the new plate I bought totally rocked while the first one was mediocre.As far as the magnetic stir bars are concerned? Well the new plate works well with any of the stirring bars I have, and now I can use any of my magnetic bars without issue, but these won't perform like you want them to if you get a crummy stirring plate.I really like these, however, and when I want more "bite" in the solution to be stirred, I use these instead of my smaller 1" bars. These are affordable too, which is important. I highly recommend these.

The large size magnetic stir bar certainly has a much stronger vortex and thus the stir power more than other products. Great stuff for a great price.Works better than the other pill shapes I have used.

These magnetic stir bars are Amazing! I was worried that it would be different than what was advertised but it turned out to be great. 5/5 stars. I would define recommend this to anyone who is looking for magnetic stir bars.

None of them work correctly. They bounce around the glass and don’t rotate or stir the liquid like they should. Magnets seem very weak; seems like a fraudulent product.

2 worked, 1 only works on low, and 1 doesn't work at all.The two that work, perform well they don't make any noise and mix without issue. The one that only works on low is a pain, if I go over the slowest speed it lets go and stops working. The 4th one doesn't work at all.

Not much to say here. These stir bars are a niche product, and they do what they’re supposed to do. They work just fine on my stir plate.
