I guess they could be left outside but inside a lantern or something as the should really be used indoors. Lovely candles though

Are these bigger than standard tea light candles?

No not really I have them in my usual tea light holders and they are perfect.

Can it be on one hour time?

Once you switch them on from the bottom they stay on for 6 hours then off for 18 hours. You can switch them on for 1 hour and the off manually.
