Improves Mic Quality vs Motherboard
I bought these specifically to improve the recording quality on my gaming headsets. I wanted to reduce the static I was hearing. I had a hard time finding an adapter that works with all my headphones, specifically the hyper x cloud alphas.This adapter works great. It made the mic quality better on everything I plugged into it. Less static, clearer voice.I tried this adapter on:Hyper X Cloud AlphaCooler Master MH751Phillips SHP9500 with V-Moda Boom Pro (This sounded awesome with this adapter)I don't really think it made audio sound better. I was using gaming headsets which aren't the highest quality sound anyway. I did like the fact that the card has a sticky back that I stuck on my desk. It also has a mic mute button and a digital volume switch that changes the volume in windows. For some just the audio switch and mic mute would be worth it.

Improved my sound quality
After many complaints about the quality of my audio during multiplayer gaming / discord, I purchased this device to use in place of the onboard audio (Realtek HD) of my computer. After installing it my team mates have told me I sound 100% better than before. Absolutely recommend.Note: I did not test the "use two headsets simultaneously" feature but that seems neat. I did note that I could plug my headset into either port on the adapter and it works the same.

Doesn't seem to work with apple ear buds. Otherwise great!
Audio and Mic input work fantastically with all of my non-apple ear buds and headphones. Unfortunately when using the apple ear buds I hear a constant buzzing. Probably something apple did weird with their ear buds but it's a bummer they don't work. I have 5 pairs laying around

Easy way to add a second headset. Plus it improved my quality.
I added this to my Kraken X headset and it made an instant improvement in the sound quality.I also like this because my kids can share a the audio with this product.
