Doesn't really go into depth on a lot of the topics. A lot of the features are just "We bought this swap kit online and swapped this engine in." What? I want you to tell me what fabrication to make my own kit. I can buy that same kit and it comes with instructions- I don't need this book to tell me that. It does have some good info on different motors and interchangeability but I was expecting more.

This is a great introductory book. It gives an over-view so that the reader knows what to expect as he/she tackles the swap. When it comes to specifics, such as wiring and computer interfacing, the book comes up short. A second source or an experienced mechanic will be needed when it comes to the fine details. This is understandable/acceptable as the swap process has too many variables for an author to cover them all. It's a valuable primer for sure!
