Pleasantly Surprised given the form factor and mounting location.
I purchased this because I was tired of constantly removing my Comet SS-680SB antenna every time I go to a car wash, yet I was concerned about the SWR being bad enough (especially where it's mounted) but for the price I figured I'd give it a shot. I hooked up to my RigExpert Stick Pro analyzer and was surprised at the results. I'm getting SWRs of 2.6 on 146.52mhz (VHF), 1.68 on 446.00mhz (UHF), 1.92 on 462.715mhz (GMRS Channel 7) and 1.52 on 467.55mhz (GMRS Channel 15 repeater). For around town driving w/ the radio off or extremely limited GMRS use on an occasional road trip w/ a friend, this is going to be great!. For longer road trips where I know I'll use more comms and monitor VHF, I'll still likely switch to the Comet SS-680SB that I've slightly tuned to get GRMS SWRs in line. For my deep desert runs where best comms are needed across both VHF and GMRS, I rely on my Comet CA-2X4SR for the best possible comms. Oddly though, it has an odd gap, as if it was designed to fit on some other mount. I checked and it's making solid contact with the PL-259 base though, so (again for the price and SWR results) I'm good!

Does NOT work in 2M. Only good for 70cm
SWR was measured at 3.5-4-1 in 2M. But it works fine in 70cm (SWR 1.1-1.5).So beware and only use to transmit in 70cm.

Mobile with caution
Short, stubby antenna. Bought it so I can park Jeep in garage. Current antenna (Diamond SSB-680) gets me under 80% of drive throughs and parking garages but not into my own garage. This Bingfu antenna is just a squat rubber duck for mobile use. Works ok for local repeaters (less than 10 miles). SWR is 2.5+ mid 2meter band goes up as frequency goes up. Under 145.5, SWR gets down towards 1.2/1. Not recommended for high power (10+ watts) or long/extended use. Receive is comparable to a rubber duck on HT....very limited on simplex.... usable for local repeaters. I knew this antenna was limited but, it fits my needs and expectations.

Poor range
Not great in the VHF bands.

laugh out loud it works
It works. Low SWR using a cookie tin top. The Antenna is paired up with a VR-N7500 Bluetooth Vhf/Uhf radio. I have this setup on my motorcycle.73's KE6UPI

Good quality but limited by design
Works as well as to be expected. Nice material and workmanship. If you’re expecting to receive like a full size antenna you will be disappointed. But if you can live within it’s short comings it’s worth the cost

Ok for receive under 160MHz. NOAA doesn't come in well. Use something better for transmit
Ok for receive under 160MHz. NOAA doesn't come in well. Receives decent for it's size on Ham bands. Use something better for transmit.
