Now try clamping accessories to i...
Installation was easy. The pain in the a** part came with trying to attach my accessories to it!I first had to buy some handlebar wrapping tape and apply it just to get the bar at a thickness that would accomodate the clamps of my headlight and cell mount. But that meant that the clamp for my Wahoo GPS was TOO wide. Long story short, after almost two hours of wrestling with it, the exAND a trip to the hardware store for some black electrical tape, the thing is almost right. It's just that now the entire assembly is going to sag just as soon as I hit a bump.I have some tape left so I'll probably cut shims to go underneath the clamps attaching the whole monstrosity to the handlebars. This unit should come with plenty of rubber shims. Period. An entire morning, wasted.I PAID AN EXTRA $23.00-$24.00 TO TRY AND GET THIS TO LOOK RIGHT AND BE STABLE.Now when it gets hot outside all this electrical tape may become a sticky mess.

What I wanted
Installation was a bit dicey. It comes with two different sized rubber shims. The thin was what was called for with my bar size but I could not get the clamps to stop rotating on the bars. I had to take a wrap of Gorilla Tape which made it a bit difficult to get the bolt started. Once the bolts were tightened up it was fine.I used it to mount a pair of fans on a bicycle that is dedicated to a smart stationary trainer. It required drilling holes for the threaded rods. It is perfectly find does not slip even with the added weight.

Does exactly what I need it to do.
I can't speak to how this will hold up over time, but it was a lifesaver for me. I had no usable real estate on my handlebars and when I started biking to work at "o'Dark-Thirty" I needed help. Without this extender, my headlight was blocked by my cables and my phone (for the map) was almost sideways (Pixel 3XL) - not useful at all. This did the trick. Maybe it falls apart after a month, maybe it lasts for years. No idea, but the extender is what I need right now

It's fine, but the color only lasted a couple days before completely fading.
I bought this to use as a headlight mount. It works for that and is solid enough. I specifically bought black because that's what color matched the handlebars. Well, within two days it completely faded and somehow turned into a gold color. I moved it to another bike and you can see in the pictures that only the parts exposed to the sun faded. The underside is still black, and there are still black strips where the mounts were previously. I like it...just wish it hadn't turned a different color.

Horrible quality, but it does the trick
Amazingly horrible quality. The bar is plastic. The ends aren't even cut straight. The hardware feels like it will break on any impact. Luckily I've mounted it upside down so the weight shouldn't Be too big of a problem. The mounting "rubber" is plastic. I used electric tape to mount the brackets.

Can't make them solidly positioned.
As the plastic inserts to make them universally fit most handlebars don't allow permanent positioning, they are always needing to be repositioned. They should come with rubber inserts for specific sized bars. I'd pay the extra now that I know what a pain in the neck it is to push or pull them back where I want them all the time.I looked into it, they all seem to have this same issue.

Missing set screws to tighten bar
Overall I think I will like it, but it was shipped WITHOUT 2 set screws to tighten bar. I have to jury-rig in order to stop it from moving and sliding forward due to riding vibrations; the movement caused light and other instrument to be in inconvenient or even hazardous position to attempt to use safely.

Mfg tolerances
The mfg tolerances and the so called spacer for smaller bars are a joke. Besides the entire bar moving around all over every time you hit a crack in the pavement and god forbid a small lip or hole in the pavement the bar will move all over. And BTW mfg...the hex key you so graciously include to tighten the bolts is the WRONG size.

It's hollow plastic, and very cheaply made.
When i purchased this for my electric scooter, i was expecting something a little more, For $18.99 it's three small pieces of plastic, and looks like it might last a week. I could be wrong. Maybe they are all made of plastic, and my expectations are too high. For the price, i expected to get a little more, and u may say well it's only $20, what did u expect? Buy it and u will see what I mean. I wouldn't recommend it tho.

Will probably get the job done
First thing I noticed is that it will not get super tight enough so that it will not move. I also wish that there were longer extensions. But I managed to make it work for me. So it holds lights very well and should hold the camera as well. Some reviews said the bar is plastic. It is not plastic. It is aluminum.

Not as advertised.
This is sold with decieving information. There is no rubber spacers. They are actually very cheap plastic that does not hold on. I ordered metal and recieved plastic that says it's carbon fiber. That's a joke. The Alan key is not good for tightening. It stripped within 2 minutes. It moves back and forth with very little pressure.

too small, cheap plastic
misleading product announced as Aluminum Alloy but the bar is plastic with a sticker on it.be aware that it is really small, and probably won't extend too far.
