(aw2720hf) is this a led or lcd monitor? the spec showed on the dell website says "led edgelight lcd monitor" can someone verify it for me?

LCD is a liquid crystal display. most displays are lcd, older ones might have fluorescent backlighting, or even led, but it’s just the backlighting for the lcd itself. most newer displays have leds. the more they have the better dispersion, the brighter the are the better chances at hdr etc.
