Will this fit an adult head?

Tightly……. Unless your head is small. This is made for a child. It will fit an adult, but not comfortably for very long.

I dont know if the one i purchased had a defect but as when my niece put it on for the first time the rhinestone/gem fell off.

I bought this for my granddaughter last year for Christmas and it’s still in tact. No problems with the one i purchased.
