So much easier than I expected.
I had already thought of so many things that could go wrong. Maybe the battery wouldn't be compatible, maybe I wouldn't install it correctly, etc. But I just changed out the battery in the way that made sense, and now my laptop stays alive for so much longer.

after 3 months it started to die out of no were now i unplug it and it dies
after having this battery for 6 months it now is to the point were if i unplug it it dies after 3 it started to die out of no were showing it still have like 50% left
