Bosch Cordless Grass Trimmer EasyGrassCut 18V-230 (1x Battery, 18 Volt System, Cutting Diameter: 23 cm, in Carton Packaging)

Very happy with my first cordless strimmer. I already have a lightweight corded Bosch strimmer which I love, but wanted to have the freedom of no cable attached. This cordless model I still feel is lightweight, although meaty battery attached. It’s performance is excellent and I can’t believe how long the battery has lasted, considering I had a large area to strim round. As usual I can’t fault Bosch again. So easy to assemble and comfortable to hold/operate. Sturdy construction too.I am small in height and have health issues, so was important to have a lightweight machine that felt comfortable and easy to use. I got a great priced bundle too. What’s not to like.

I have a lot of Bosch 18V equipment and this is the latest addition. I have only used it once to trim grass round pots and edge lawns etc but it made easy work of this. I like the adjustable metal guard (not sure if it is meant to be adjustable but that is what I did) as it controls the height when doing lawn edging so as not to consume too much cord thrashing away at stones, paths, slabs etc. So far very impressed as it does everything I needed it to do. My only small gripe is the battery that comes with the unit has a different charger connection. I can use my older (not that old) batteries on the strimmer but the new battery needs a different charger. It means I need to keep 2 chargers or not use the new battery. Its not the end of the world but interchangeable parts should be interchangeable anywhere, just a bit annoying. Its a great little unit, lightweight and easy to use and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of purchasing one.

This trimmer is easy to use and compared to the petrol one I was having to use, it is very light to move about. It will not tackle tough stems and strong growing weeds, but once they have bern tamed it does ok. Grass it tackles with o problem and the 180 degree handle turn is very useful for edges. I only gave 4 out 5 stars overall as the charge will only last about 15 mins before the battery needs to be recharged. Obviously the answer is to have 2 but they are expensive. Generally for what it xan do it is a good strimmer.

Very good quality and lightweight. However when the cutting cord breaks off, you have to open up the reel and physically eek out the cord and put it through the hole, it does not do it automatically. Also when cutting, the strimmer throws the debris all over the place and you have to do a 2nd job of removing the debris, apart from that it works well but please bear these points in mind.

Very pleased with this strimmer, very light , quick to charge and long lasting power. Suitable for small garden with light strimming needs. Ideal for edging , quick & easy.

Powerful, lightweight, easy to use. Cuts the lawn edges before mowing efficiently.. The battery lasts long enough for a few uses before I need to charge it. My garden grass area is 75ft by 90ft.

I decided to go for this simpler designed Bosch EasyGrassCut 18V-26 strimmer as the previous Bosch strimmer I purchased (UniversalGrassCut 18V-260 strimmer with folding handle ) was poorly designed and parts wore out or broke over it short life. The Bosch EasyGrassCut 18V-26 strimmer came in a very small box as the long handle is in 3 parts. I could not find any assembly instructions on the box or any of the supplied user manual / paperwork but worked out you had to remove the rubber bungs and slot the three parts together until they clicked in place and use a screwdriver to fit the safety cover in place over the strimmer head. In fact the user manual / paperwork is fairly useless being in dozens of languages and in very small print. What useful information there is buried deep amongst 95% of information of no or little use. The product itself feels very robust and works well but time will tell how long it lasts .

The first one was, to my mind, faulty but was replaced by the vendor: Avon Garden Machinery -☆☆☆☆☆ -excellent service! I have been using it this week to cut mostly tall dry grass stalks (not thick ones) and a few small green weeds that have come up since a heavy (petrol motor) strimming 2 months ago. -Like: light-weight easy to hold and carry - even on rough sloping ground where a heavy strimmer could be difficult. I have raised it above my head to trim weeds off a high terrace wall! Battery life surprisingly good -by the time its ready for recharging I am ready for another coffee! Strimmer cord strength although 1,6mm diameter (very thin compared to that of a heavy strimmer e,g. 4mm)) it does cut dry grass and thin stems OK. So far I have recharged the battery 4 times and still have cutting cord left on the spool. It appears that the spool's spinning inertia feeds another short length of cutting cord every time you stop the motor (a cunning design) so you dont have to hit the strimmer head on the ground - BUT this means you need to keep the motor running or if you blip on and off then out comes more cutting cord! -so it seems. Get used to that and its fine. No real dislikes but please note it is NOT a replacement for a heavy motor strimmer -more a light but effective trimmer, I doubt it would cope with cutting thick or wet grass. I have both this and a heavy, petrol motor strimmer and am delighted with this as a lightweight trimmer between the use of the heavy strimmer or lawn mower. The single strand of cutting cord is just 75mm long so it does not cover a large area. But it is a useful tool and I lwill be using it a lot! Follow-up report after 5 days and about 6 re-charges of the battery.... I have now had the same problem as with the first (faulty imho) strimmer- the complete head unit (including spool of cutting "cord" flies off having unscrewed from the motor's spindle. Unfortunately the head unit is held on the motor spindle by a small square nut. I have not found a way of locking the freely rotating motor spindle do as to do up the nut. This happened to the first strimmer -same model-within about 15 minutes of use. Vendor is in touvh eith Bosch to investigate in the meantime I have no means to attach the head unit to the motor spindle = no stimner..

Light and easy to use. I was particularly impressed by the toughness of the line material. It’s down a little on power but it’s only a little 18v thing so for normal household use it’s more than adequate. Very impressed by the how well it works for the money.

Benzinli makinelerden sonra çok rahat bir alet. Bir kere benzin/koku/damlama derdi yok. Kablo olmadığından süper özgürlük. İpini takmak çok pratik. Kurulumu 5 dakika, neredeyse aletsiz kurulabiliyor. Sadece bir tane vida sıkmak lazım onun için tornavida lazım. Kenar köşe kesimi + döner başlık ile çim sonlandırma rahatlıkla yapılıyor. Plastiği bir tık zayıf belki onu kullandıkça göreceğiz ama bu sayede hafif olmuş.

Wenn ich in Deutschland ein Bosch Rasentrimmer bestelle , gehe ich davon aus ,dass das Akkuladegerät in unserer Steckdose passt aber leider nicht, müsste mir noch einen Adapter zulegen, keine gute Lösung....

Je l'utilise depuis des années. Robuste mais utiliser une batterie d'au moins 2.5 Ah pour une durée d'utilisation plus longue. J'ai pris 4 Ah. Efficace.
