I love this garlic press! I've had one of these for about ten years and it's in great condition! Decent weight/heft. Not flimsy at all. Designed to last! The small red cleaning tool it comes with makes cleaning this fast and easy. I find it more functional and easier to deal with and clean than some of the other models of garlic presses that exist. It also doesn't take up too much space in the drawer. I got this one for my friend and she loves it too!

this is the only garlic press I will use. I had one for years and it finally gave out so i made the mistake of replacing it with a gimmicky one where the piece comes out and you can wash it separately. Forget it! the leverage was all wrong and it was impossible to squeeze and get a good press. I had to peel every clove just to get it to work and then scrape the garlic out of it. this one works perfectly; easy to press and you don't peel the clove, the skin comes out cleanly and easily. Love it!

Buy this little gem. When we lived in North Central California, in the Monterey area, we were blessed with immediate access to some of the freshest vegetables available. And the annual garlic festival in Gilroy was awesome. On one particular trip to Gilroy in 2001, I stopped in a few of the tourist-trappy garlic-product stores, where I serendipitously discovered a very similar garlic press. I used that garlic press for over 10 years. Now, 11 years later, I must thank Amazon and this vendor for (again) helping me to enjoy cloves and cloves of crushed, minced garlic, with little effort. (The press purchased in Gilroy finally gave up the ghost early last year, and we ended up trying several dissimilar, more "contemporary" models) You won't find a better-leveraged, more capable garlic press. Please don't buy the other presses that have the hinge located at the top of the press. IMHO, those presses are a distant second-rate design when compared to this little gem. True enough, this press is not dishwasher safe. However, if you enjoy cooking with massive amounts of garlic, something tells me you are not afraid of a little washing of the dishes by hand. My wonderful wife and I have a fairly good system in place: I cook; she cleans. When using this little gem, I make it a point to simply pop it into a glass of water, press-side down. This helps to loosen the pressed garlic from the press, and it prevents the garlic from hardening onto the press. Bottom line recommendation: Buy it, wash it by hand, and enjoy AWEsome bits of garlic with very little effort.

These garlic squeezer works great! I’ve used multiple different ones until I came across this one. The only downside is that it is not dishwasher safe, so it does take a bit of a time to clean them.

It works great but hand washing every time is no bueno. Whatever you do don’t put it in the dishwasher, I did because I’m lazy, the chrome finish comes right off and from that point on leaves a metal residue on your garlic, so I had to throw it away.

Had this same garlic press made exactly the same way by the same company for over 25 years. It finally gave up the ghost and fell apart last month. Very simple design, solid construction. Works perfectly! DO NOT put it in the dishwasher. Hand wash only. Over the years, it inadvertently occasionally went into the dishwasher. This makes the glossy finish become very dull and creates friction on the moving parts. Probably, if it had never gone in the dishwasher ever, it would still be around. I bought 2 this time; one for a good friend.

Best garlic press I have ever bought! I love the mechanism used to crush the garlic. It doesn't look to have any weak spots. My previous name brand garlic presses have broken under pressure, and this one is holding up fantastically. Highly recommend.

Cast aluminum. Best quality, and the most practical garlic press. Love it.

Feels very light and cheaply made, but it actually works really well. For the price it’s not bad $<15. It’s some form of metal alloy. I hope no chromium as it’s from China.

Realiza bien su propósito, en cuanto espacio es para un ajo mediano. Aunque si se parte por mitad se podria aprovechar mejor el espacio para triturar.
