Fast Ice, easy to setup and use, and good customer support from Deco directly
This ice maker really delivers. Recommend setting up an automatic drain as well as adding a water filter because doing so makes this machine practically maintenance free. I change the filter once a year and never have to clean it, ice is always clear and never run out even for events with 30+ people. It does make some noise when making ice but i think its less than other makers I have dealt with. Even had to deal with Deco directly with some product questions and was glad to get good service that sometimes you don't get from 3rd party vendors who sell through amazon. If I somehow ever needed more ice I would buy another one.

Worked well until now
We hired a plumber to install it. Installation cost $20 . Works great. Shipped No package in fact it came in fox in a box and the actual machine had a plastic protective wrap over the stainless steel which was easy to yo no package in fact it came in fox in a box and the actual machine had a plastic protective wrap over the stainless steel which was easy to remove. The plastic ice cube is not very useful and we did order a metal scoop. We are very satisfied and delighted to have our own ice machine since we use a lot of ice.Quit working after 3 years..

Quality and value
Great value. Makes ice quickly. Quiet running. You can make the cubes thicker but then have to break them apart. I prefer thick cubes so the added step is a small negative but overall great quality for value. Instalation was very easy with everything included.

Great Icemaker
Great Ice maker, good quality, good looking and fast shipping. Only negative is it is quite loud while making and dumping ice. Would order again.

Low quality but ok for tge price
Easy to install but the ice comes out in sheets. You gave to break them uo so they fit in a glass.

Will Not Last...Don't Buy
I have had this ice maker for 14 months...4 months out of the year it was turned off and unplugged due to winter. Now the ice maker will not make ice, it goes through all the cycles but this device does not seem to get cold enough to freeze ice. I talked to a repair center and I was told if it needs Freon it's not worth repairing and to look at getting a new ice maker. The ice maker looks brand new but junk...BUYER BEWARE!

Definitely recommend and have told friends to buy too
Loved this ice maker, tons of ice, looks great with my other outdoor stainless appliances. Had professional install and works perfectly. Love that I can shut it off when not using. Only thing I don’t love is having to break apart cubes. Overall awesome

ice maker, not a freezer
This is a bare-bones ice-maker, and the user answers are junk. I bought this a little over 3 weeks ago.How to hook it up? handbook couldn't tell you, but the water line is 1/4" OD. All of the sink water and refrigerator lines in my house are 3/8 so I had to find a reducing-T: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005S4KVZC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The drain sadly relies on gravity only, so if it is under-counter, it will need a floor drain or lower. Any kind of flat or uphill run on the drain will make a trap area containing 32F water that causes condensation on the outside of the drain line. It's strangely an accordion style drain tube so it will trap water in the ridges. This is not a freezer. It makes ice periodically to replenish the melt while sitting in my basement at 65F.This is how it appears to work: A valve helps fill a little bucket under the tray with water, pushed in by regular home water line. When a lever is not blocked by ice, the ice making begins: A pump runs the bucket water up onto the ice tray grid which either freezes or goes back into the bucket to be pumped back up, while the grid is cooled by the refrigerator-compressor. After a fixed time, the grid's ice is pushed off. If the ice falls away, ice making continues. If the ice blocks the arm under the tray, ice making stops and it is full. The compressor only does ice-making. As ice melts, the box will make ice once the lever trips. Melt-water drains away in a constant trickle without the help of a pump.I got it because sloppy guests at my refrigerator couldn't figure out how to position a glass to prevent spilling ice chunks in the kitchen, so an ice machine and bar area in a finished basement are a place I can send them to for drinks. I enjoy how much ice it makes and how much ice I get from it, but I can't very well add a floor drain in the basement, so this thing lives on a counter-top and really completes the commercial look.
