Beginner tool
Lol Frank is wonderful. Great practice for the basics & you know what they say about the basics.. solid foundation then the trajectory will be even better. Found it hard to add weight but the size was perfect for beginners

Great product for my boys
I bought this grappling dummy for my two sons, and it’s been a fantastic purchase. The quality is great and the material is really strong, holding up well to all the rough training and play. Once we filled it, it kept its shape nicely and works perfectly for practicing moves, takedowns, and submissions. Both of my boys use it for BJJ and wrestling practice, and it’s helped them build confidence and improve their skills at home. I like that it’s safe, durable, and something they can use together or on their own. Definitely a great training tool and worth every penny!

Good but takes work to stuff
This dummy is working well and I am enjoying drilling with it, but stuffing it was difficult and requires maintenance. I originally built a pvc skeleton and stuffed around that but soon realized the skeleton was not useful and made certain moves unnatural. I ended up removing the pvc. When I purchased this, I also purchased a used heavy bag from a thrift store and used the stuffing from the bag in the dummy. It required some jiujitsu skills to stuff the stuffing at different angles using a broom handle to shove it deep and compact it. Shoulder joints tend to lose stuffing to other places so it's not perfect. Will need to add more over time. Still a good training tool.

False advertising
There is no planet where this thing will stay standing they way they advertise it. Mine also came with unfinished stitching inside of it

Misleading depiction for takedown training?
I bought this to practice takedowns and judo. The listing advertises it for “Judo Takedown & Throwing Practice,” says it is “built to be thrown,” and repeatedly depicts the dummy standing upright for training. In reality, it’s not freestanding. The disingenuous picture of a muscular fighter simply standing next to the dummy with his arm or hand resting casually on the dummy’s shoulder (with nobody holding the dummy upright) is ridiculous. That gives the impression that the dummy can stand on its own. It can’t. The “no partner, no problem” tagline is just not accurate if someone ELSE has to hold this up for you. If you purchase with the understanding that it’s NOT freestanding, then is it still useful? I don’t know. I stuffed it with sand and clothes and it’s too heavy for me to hold up or have someone hold up. So for takedowns, I can’t use it as is. Even if I did stuff it more lightly, however,, someone would have to hold this dummy upright, or you would have to hold it up yourself while trying to do moves. If you’re holding the dummy upright, that’s limiting, and not realistic for many self defense scenarios, in my opinion, because instead of focusing on a technique, you’re putting energy into holding the dummy up that you’re trying to take down. Can it be used for jujitsu ground game? I don’t know because although it’s stuffed, the joints are flimsy and not realistic resistance. So the padding has to be stuffed properly in the joints. I’m giving it some leeway because maybe I stuffed it wrong. I had to figure this out myself and it took a long time. Maybe there’s some user error and I could have stuffed it more lightly, and stuffed it properly in the joints. There’s a hook on the head, so I suppose you can figure out how to hook it to something. That’s just extra work and equipment. For now, it’s sitting here as an eyesore in my workout room. I need to either donate it or figure it out. It’s been a hassle. That’s on me perhaps. But the listing should make clear that it is not freestanding and explain how the manufacturer expects customers to use it for the standing takedowns shown in the advertising.
