I tried another heat protectant glove for my flat iron that was cheaper and highly rated. It was the thickness of a winter glove--it was too thick to feel my hair and too slick to grip/separate hair strands. This 3-finger heat protectant glove works really well. It leaves two fingers free so that I can feel my hair. Also, even though glove looks like it would be slick, it has a slight texture to it which means I can grip/feel my hair to pick it up and separate strands even with the gloved portion. I also use this glove when drying my hair because my drying brush sometimes gets my hair too hot to the touch. I can use the two free fingers to feel if my hair is wet/dry yet. The heat protection is adequate - it protects from heat under normal use--slight bumps against flat iron or heat from hot dryer or hot hair strands. It would NOT protect you from direct heat--would not recommend for uses other than hair styling--mechanical or craft projects, etc. It has velcro at the wrist which makes it easy to get on/off. I am female and normally wear a medium in a woman's glove, and there is plenty of room in the glove. I would guess a woman who normally wears a large in a glove still might be able to use it since I have excess room in the glove? I doubt this glove would fit a typical man's hand.

This definitely came in handy when I do my wood burning was having a problem burning my hands when hurting the tool and now I don't have to worry the quality is great it wasn't too big it's not heavy it's so light I'm able to still perform my job and completing my woodwork efficiently

Used to clean quartz enails. Works but can still feel the heat. Helps to help clean resin from heated quartz.

A tiny bit too long for my fingers but I'm using it and it works great!!! Very easy to use

LOVE this glove. I've used it under lightweight winter gloves and when holding a mug with a hot beverage, or even along with an oven mitt for very hot dishes - and it's worked very well in those situations. However, I happened to wear it while using my laptop, that has a sharp bottom edge under control pad area. With the glove on, the heel of my hand was protected and so much more comfortable. Also, when resting hand on laptop near bottom edge of control pad, the R side can easily activate accidentally. However with glove on, the R side pad is less sensitive to touch, and now it rarely happens. I do have to use just last two fingers (uncovered by glove) to scroll, move cursor, etc. but that works out well for me. Helping out w/laptop use was an added bonus for me.

I use this glove for wood burning. The fit is good. I am not a fan of the velcro. It is very bulky. But, the material works good for heat protection.

Love this Glove! It really does help when using straight curling iron. I was worried I would not be able to touch the iron for long thinking the heat would go straight through. But so far, no burnt fingertips.

Grabbed my hot flat iron by accident, I have thick dark hair so my styling tools are always at the top setting, burned right through the glove. And the melted to my skin. Thank goodness I have a fast reaction time and felt something wasn’t right because it was NOT protectant AT ALL. And it’s left handed only. I’m right handed

This is the very best glove I have had, comfortable and just the job for protection from styling wand and straighteners. Wish I had bought two!

El producto está bien pero si podrían poner referencias para saber para que tamaño de mano son porque yo tengo una mano normal y me va enorme es como para chico no para chica con un tamaño de mano normal/delgada. No es para cualquier medida de mano. Le quedo Perfecto a mi esposo que tiene la mano más ancha y grande que yo. No lo devolví porque me urgía, hago alisados permanentes y tenía los dedos ya medio quemados. Si funciona pero no es para chica es muy grande.
