Keeps food hot
I have been wanting to get a proper food jar to keep my lunch (if it's soup) or breakfast (if it's porridge) hot as I am always pushed for time in the morning so do this the night before. I am very pleased with the results and it means that I don't have to spend lots of money in Pret or Eat on food that I don't really want! Slightly more expensive than other small flasks or food jars, but it does actually work, so that is worth the money in my view. I might even get another one :)

It arrived eventually, in a jiffy bag. The blurb says you can drop it from height and it will be OK. Well I don't think they meant through from the aircraft as it was flying over Heathrow at 40 thousand feet. Yes it came all the way from America IN A JIFFY BAG I ask you! The spoon was smashed there was two dents in the casing, sent back for refund and bought a different one (Thermos), which so far has done the job, this time well packed by Amazon. Unfortunately you can't give 0 stars. I know people are going to say that's harsh but look at it this way if you can't be bothered to pack your product carefully, then you are not inspiring great confidence in the rest of the blurb that you spout about your product, hence 1 star without trying the flask.

Item arrived with a dent on the lid
The food jar arrived with a dent on the lid which was a bit disappointing. I am still to test its actual functionality.

Doesn't do anything. Just a steel jug. It is not a flask. It's just steel that's it. Mine had a dent in it. You can't break it theirs nothing in it.one layer of steel.

Keeps food hot, just remember to preheat with boiling water prop to putting food in and then it works wonderfully

Great size for soups and stews. YES, it keeps contents hot! I pack it at 5 30 am and my husband says it’s still hot when he eats around noon. Worth the price and fits great in his Stanley ‘Herman Munster’ lunch box lol

This thermos lasts, and years later it still holds temperature. Cheap thermoses will get air leaks and stop insulating. Worth the money.
