Exactly what I wanted.
I'm in the US Marine Corps. I had to spend a week in the field with no access to a power source. I bought this product in hopes that it would be able to keep my phone charged through the duration of my field ops. It performed perfectly and did everything go expected it to. I also had a 10,000 mAh back up battery pack. I used the Anker charger to charge up my battery pack during the day then I would charge my phone with the battery pack at time when I had time. With 2 hours of direct sunlight it was able to charge my back up battery to full charge every day. So basicly I kept my phone charged using it consistently for over a week with no power source other than the sun.

Great for backpacking when used with external battery
I bought this solar charger for a 3-week backpacking trip in the Sierra Nevada. We used this to charge anĀ Anker Astro E1 5200mAh Candy bar-Sized Ultra Compact Portable Charger (External Battery Power Bank) with High-Speed Charging PowerIQ Technology, which we then used to charge our various devices. It worked wonderfully, and on sunny days the battery would usually have gotten a full charge by midday. If you're using this for backpacking, or any other situation where the panel won't be sitting in direct sunlight for an extended period of time, I would highly recommend using it with an external battery, rather than using it to charge a phone (or other device) directly. When we tried to charge a phone directly, it constantly vibrated as we moved in and out of shade and charged very slowly. Using the external battery was much more efficient. This product is also durable-- we got several scratches on the panels from branches, etc., and it still functioned excellently. Finally, here's a tip for efficient charging, if you're using this for backpacking. On this page, there's a picture of the charger strapped to the back of a backpack. We tried that for a couple days and found charging to be very slow. We switched to a setup where the charger was sort of tented over the top of the pack, with one panel angled toward the front and one angled to the back. That way, we were getting our best incident angle when the sun was roughly overhead, which was also midday, when the sun was strongest. Obviously, some of that depends on where and what time of year you're hiking, but for summer backpacking, you should make sure the panels are generally facing up, not behind you.

HUGE and well made for the price
This bag is enormous, well made, and worth the money. (the bottom photo shows it is as big as a weekend carryon bag). I took photos to show some of the parts you can't see in the description. Let's start with the back of the pack. The venting and padding in the straps and back panel will be wonderful on a hot day when you need to wear the bag for hours, like a field trip. The straps have a ton of extra space to be adjusted if you are tall or heavy. The handle is also padded so it doesn't dig into your arm or wrist or hand when you hold it that way. The three main compartments of the backpack are very roomy, soft, easily wiped clean, have interior pockets with elastic gathered tops, and you can customize how you want the bottom of the three interior compartments to be velcroed (open or sealed up). I use the first main compartment for large items (wallet, coupon book, snacks, juice, camera, phone), the middle opening for personal products (tissues, lip balm), and the last smallest opening for a toy. The small padded zipper opening in the front is perfect for my gym lock and keys. The wipe container works perfectly fine, but like others said, I sub in a jumbo pack of wipe refills since I only like a certain brand/fragrance and it still fits into the opening. The insulated pocket on the opposite side of the bag is fine too, I simply don't have the need for a baby bottle any longer so I keep an oversized sunglasses case in there instead. My only complaint is that the insulted pouch only opens one way with one zipper. I wish it had two zippers so that you could access it from either side. The zippers overall are well made and they aren't cheap small zipper handles. They are ergonomically molded to the comfortable in your hand. The diaper pad is cheap cheap cheap but would work in a pinch if you needed an extra changing surface. I am so pleased with this purchase and my husband is as well. He didn't like my old bag since it was a one shoulder strap diaper bag that would bump into people and knock things over in stores. The Graco Gotham is cool for guys and dads too. The only con is that it's plain and kind of makes you look like you are going on a hiking trip, even if you're grocery shopping or hitting up the library, but I have boys and we don't exactly frequent fine ladies' stores, kwim? For a grownup night out, of course I use a nice handbag.
