This tamper is a big step up from the plastic one that came with my espresso machine. It's got a good weight to it and fits perfectly in my 51mm portafilter. My espresso has definitely improved since I got this tamper!

The Aptspade 51mm coffee tamper offers great quality and value for the price. It fits perfectly into my 51mm porta filter basket. It’s easy for my arthritic hand to hold comfortably. It has just the right weight to apply light pressure to consistently make a dense, flat coffee puck for extracting delicious espresso shots from home machine. It’s a wonderful replacement for the plastic tamper that came with my machine.

Does exactly what I hoped it would do. Tamps the coffee very well into the porta filter. Heavy, nice piece of metal.

This is a nicely built product. I prefer to make my own mochas at home and needed to buy things to do it myself. I chose this one because it looked like good quality and it didn’t disappoint me.

Loved this!!! Until I upgraded to a 58mm expresso machine. Now It sits there...hoping to get used again one day...but unfortunately...it won't... Heavy, works well! Good for introduction into the art of expresso coffee making.

This is a great starter for someone just learning the fundamentals of espresso and the art of it. The weight is very good and durability is pristine. Overall beautiful piece.

Perfect weight for tamping and can be rinsed to clean. My wonderful espresso machine had one flaw - a plastic scoop/tamper. I replaced it with this one and couldn’t be happier.

got this as a small upgrade for my espresso setup and it’s done the job nicely. The 51mm size fits my machine’s portafilter just right and it’s made tamping much easier and more consistent. It’s got a good bit of weight to it so you don’t have to press too hard and the handle is comfy to hold. The aluminium alloy feels strong and well made, not cheap or flimsy. It’s not the most premium tamper out there but for this price you can’t really complain. Great if you’re just getting into making espresso at home or want something simple that works. It’s helped improve the shot quality a bit and feels much better than the plastic one that came with the machine. Definitely worth picking up if you’re into home brewing.
