I am looking to order several plants but in il is cold now. should i order in spring or the packaging is fine for cold states?

I'm in SLC and it's winter atm. This plant not only spent 3 days in the mail (USPS, no less) with cold temps, but also sat outside my door for several hours, and it arrived in absolutely amazing condition. It was wrapped in thermal mylar and cardboard. Amazing packaging.

The plant I received does not have glossy leaves. Do they get glossy with time?

Try wiping them with water. Also new leaves are glossy
