The Monstera Adansonii is a philodendron more commonly known as the Swiss cheese plant. It is commonly mistaken for the Monstera Obliqua, which is also a vine like philodendron with holes in the leaves, but they are slightly different. The Adansonii has more plant tissue surrounding the gaps in the leaves. This type of Philo is a vine like plant that will trail anywhere it grows. As it ages, the perforations in the leaves will grow larger and more pronounced. Level of skill required to not kill it: a beginner can handle this bad boy. Very easy to keep alive. Needs: bright indirect light, airy, easily draining soil and regular watering when the soil is dry. Humidity loving plant. Misting him with water every few days would be a nice treat for him, but is not necessary. Watering once a week to once every two weeks (depending upon temperatures and light) during winter is plenty, and as warmer weather comes knockin’, increase watering to once or twice weekly. Plant shipped may or may not be the exact plant shown in the photos. Typically the photo is a very accurate representation of the plants available. Waste of money
I think they just stuck some stems and leaves in the dirt. Complete waste of money.
