Herschel Heritage Backpack, Peacoat/Saddle Brown, Classic 21.5L

Super cute backpack. I bought this for my one year old son, seeing that it was a mini backpack, but didn’t realize how mini it would be. I was so excited to get it only to be disappointed, and laugh, when I opened it. This backpack fits my dog. Definitely couldn’t fit my child or hold anything in it really. Will be returning. Wish that this gave a better description but I hope the picture helps any future buyers.

This backpack lasted me five years, from backpacking in Europe to 4 years of college. The leather is tearing a tiny bit and the color is faded (it sat in the sun half of the time I was in college) but everything else is perfect. I would be using it longer if I didn't spill my drinks on the inside. That being said, I really wish this backpack had a water bottle holder.

I bought this backpack to replace my Jansport as it feels a bit cheap with no padding, but this one on the other hand cost about the same price while having plenty of padding and stronger shoulder straps. The leather is very smooth and easy to clean with just a dampened rag. The backpack is also very spacious, enough to travel with things like camera gear, portable speakers, tablets, or a laptop with the built in laptop sleeve.

I've actually had my eyes on this backpack for a while now. Even though I've like this backpack, I couldn't purchase it before since I already had a backpack until it unfortunately got ruined. I knew then that I needed a new backpack especially for collage. So, I finally bought this backpack to see if I really like it as much. Upon arriving, it came in great condition and was just perfect for fitting in all my notebooks, lab books, textbooks, and much more ! I tend to not put too much stuff inside since it gets really heavy when it's fully packed. Been using this backpack for couple weeks now and it still holds very well and in great shape !

Lightweight and high quality. Bags not cheap but with the material it’ll last you quite a while. The bag is the perfect size of students; it can also be used for some light traveling.

I love the bag. It’s thick and stylish. Perfect for someone who doesn’t need 20 pockets in their bag.

Exactly what I was looking for! I ordered a different color & ended up returning it & going with the black on black. I use this for work & it makes the stuff I carry feel much lighter than my old backpack. Would recommend.

I've ordered this backpack back in July to start my school year with a good backpack. I've heard about Herschel Supply Co. and I've seen it around and fell in love. I decided to get the black backpack. The big compartment is very spacious and convenient when you're carrying huge folders. It has a great laptop compartment (which I use for notebooks) and a tiny pocket for your MP3. The front pocket however, does not have storage compartments but it has a key clip and is roomy as well. The material for the backpack is very sturdy and will not tear easily. All in all, if you are looking to find another great quality backpack, ditch the Jansport and DEFINITELY try Herschel.👍🏼😀

I use this bag for cycling and International travel as an under-the-seat cabin bag. I use the bag for everything, to be honest. It's just perfect for me. I travel light and 21 litres is enough for all my needs. It does help I am a minimalist but anyway, the material is super. Cheaper bags can sag and look rubbish when not full, this bag keeps its shape. This is important not just cause it means the bag is of excellent durable material but it also means the bag works in all kinds of situations. I got the Raven Crosshatch one. I love the design of the front pocket being a different colour to the rest. There are not many pockets inside, just one for a laptop, but this makes using it simpler. It's really comfortable on my back. It's so well padded. I just forget its there sometimes. I highly recommend this product!

As the title suggests, this has been my main backpack for 4 years.I'm not going to comment on how much it'll fit, since you probably know already.However, what I can comment on is it's durability, and quality.This thing has survived a good bit of abuse, and looks unscathed. It's survived my 2 years in college, 2 jobs and many fun outings.This is one of the few products I've reviewed where there's no caveats, no ifs and buts and no "you should get this instead". It's honestly the best backpack I've used for the size, and price.

The bag is nice, but too costly for what it is. The fabric is rather simple and generic, no special pockets or anything to differentiate it from cheaper equivalents. The laptop pocket is just a thin layer that won't protect your laptop from bumps and the key holder in the front pocket is made of some awfully cheap plastic.At least it is waterproof and I really like the leather bottom. I ordered for the 13'' model but received the 15'' instead, so I can't really say anything about the size for those interested in the medium sized variation.

Looks even better in person, straps are very well padded.I do wish there was another pocket on the inside, but there is plenty of space for a normal student's day to day needs. All of this without looking bulky.The limited lifetime guarantee is also a testiment to the quality of the backpack so I don't need to worry about any issues with it.

I ordered a tan and black backpack but I got a solid black one, which was a shame but as uni was starting and it's not that much of a big deal, I didn't contact the seller about this, so I'm not sure if they'll get all orders wrong but as I said, it wasn't that much of a big deal. It's a very good backpack; it has loads of space and has an extra laptop section with extra padding which is great. It's comfortable on my back and there's even a little section for my phone and a headphone hole, which is super convenient!
