Awesome purchase for the price
I bought this is 2022 for 139.00. Today April 2026 its 70.00 Well worth every penny if you are just starting out or have light work. This thing rocks I've not had one problem with it. I read some of the reviews prior to purchase and went with a review that suggested getting rid of the wire that came with it and get yourself some Forney E71T-GS .030 wire. Awesome suggestion and that combo has not disappointed.

Best cheap welder I've used
This is by far the best cheap welder I've used. My welding isn't very good but for only being my 4th time ever welding I thing it did great welding 1/4 angle. The first one I got didn't work. However I believe it was damaged during shipping. The shipped me out a new one the next day no questions. So over all I'm very happy for how much it costed and how smooth it works I don't think you'll find a better deal for the money

Affordable and does a great job
I'm not a welder by any means. But this welder did what I needed. The frame body mount in the picture is thick steel. It's tacked in place. I'll go back and finish it. There are YouTube videos that gave great reviews and ranked it in the top five.

You get what you pay for.
I used this mig welder to weld 2 inches of wire, and then the wire feeder stopped working. Tried all troubleshooting options. There is no power to the wire feeding motor. I think there must be something wrong with the circuit board. It’s past the one year warranty, so I’m stuck with a large paperweight at this point. Piece of junk. Do not purchase.

Decent welder for home projects and beginners.
I'm a retired Navy veteran and my rate was a pipe fitter/welder. This is the 2nd flux-core welder i've had over last 8 yrs. I bought this one when the other became non repairable. Vet any FC welder b4 u buy and you'll be glad u did. This Etosha has turned out to be a very good welder. Here's a tip...dedicate a separate circuit or shut off any thing else on same cir, as it will blow ur breaker after @ 1-2 mins of welding. I learned this when I had 2 lights and a fan on same 20a breaker as welder. once turned off welder worked great. I can recommend this welder, and another tip...get 1lb spools of Lincoln .030/.035 wire for better weld quality, i use .035.

Excellent Value
First of all, throw the wire away as soon as you open the box and get some Forney .30 flux core. With that out of the way, I didn’t buy their wire, I bought their welder, and their welder is fantastic!! I love this little thing. It’s my new little buddy. I only wish the leads were about 3-5 feet longer. I have to work in close quarters with this, but my ass is planted in a chair anyhow, so I suppose it doesn’t matter. The welder is worth every penny, period!

Power is a guessing game…
I’ve had this welder for about 4 years now and the welds are decent but the only problem is I learned on a more professional machine that had dials for wire speed and how hot you wanted to run it. On this machine, it only gives you two buttons which to me feels more like an on/off switch and no difference in the other button. So basically you’re left trying to figure it out through trial and error no matter how experienced you are. It easily blows holes in light metal no matter what setting you’re on or how you hold it or changing your technique. The instructions manual is a joke!! Tells you basically what you probably already know, especially if you’ve welded before and are in the market to buy one. So you’re left with a low/high voltage setting and a feed wire. You gotta figure out the rest. For this reason I’m looking for a digital welder with better adjustable settings
