The media could not be loaded.  UPDATE - Smallrig is kindly replacing this unit. Hopefully it lasts longer this time.Lasted two months before the hex screws that you tighten on the sides to keep the swivel resistance sturdy started no longer tightening. Resulting in a mount that can't hold anything straight anymore. I had a VERY light load on this. Just a BM Video Assist 5" with no batteries because it's powered via Vmount. It was working sooo well until I went to tighten the screws again because the swivel was getting loose. I barely turned the hex screw half a turn before it just started spinning freely. Smallrig seems to think that I'm doing it wrong, or using the wrong tool. I'm using the socket they suggested and it just doesn't tighten. So they're just offering a discount on another one instead of replacing it... I bought this two months again, I believe they should just replace it for free. Would be the best swivel monitor mount out there (due to the dual NATO mounts), if it was just built a little better.

The media could not be loaded.  Pros: both NATO clamps lock down tight on all of my NATO rails. The swivel resistance is adequate.Cons: Can't handle the weight of an Atomos Ninja V with a cage and an Atomos 5200mAh Battery. The screws on the side couldn't be tightened down to increase the tilt tension.I want NATO clamp on both side, so I'm going to give the non-swivel version Small 2205 a try instead.

This is hands down the best monitor mount I've ever used. First of all, it uses (in my opinion) the most robust and easiest mount/dismount mounting solution, the Nato rail, on both sides of the clamp. The swivel and tilt functions are super smooth and incredibly well damped, to the point that it's very difficult to rotate along either access without a monitor attached to give you more leverage. One might complain that there is no ability to adjust the tension or lock the swivel or tilt but in my opinion, it's exactly the right tension. It moves when you want it to and stays rock solid when you need it to. It's price is absolutely justifiable given it's build quality.

Time will tell weather it holds up. There is no tension adjustments at all. So far so good, but will it loosen up after lots of use and become worthless?

This is the 3rd or 4th widget I've got from SmallRig for my Red camera. I love the build quality, and texture is very similar to the Red aesthetic. To untrained eye, it looks like it comes from same manufacturer, and that's the look I want.

Great build quality, no issues so far.

I use this to mount my atomos ninja v to my cage. Is very secure and allows me to quickly disassemble my rig. It does a great job of adjusting but holding position. If you are using f970 batteries on your ninja v and have it in a smallrig cage, very sharp movements can cause the monitor to lean forward. It's not much of an actual issue, but something to be aware of if you are also mounting a microphone etc to the monitor. Very happy with this mount.

I like smallrig. I bought a lot of their products but this one is just disappointing. For more than $80 I expect it to be able to support the weight of a Shogun 7. It keeps falling forward or backward if you just tilt it slightly and there is no way to tighten it.
