Lincoln Stain Wax Shoe Polish 2 1/8 oz

The best shoe polish you can get
This polish provide a much higher shine and much better durability than Kiwi. I found out about Lincoln polish while having my shoes shined at a shoe shine stand. I swore I though the guy was doing a lousy job, until he started buffing this polish. My shoes looked better than when they were new by the time he finished. This shine lasted much longer than Kiwi wax, and it was much more resistant to scuffing, and did not flake off in the creases. I immediately ordered a can of this polish and have used it a few times, with great results. I wish I knew about this stuff when I was in the military, it would have saved me hours.

I've tried the rest, This is the best
From fall to spring, I pretty much live in boots. By the time warm weather is upon us, my boots are pretty ratty looking. I've tried every kind of cream and polish and finally tried the Lincoln. It is far and away the best polish of all. My Danner's were covered in salt and chemicals. I cleaned them up and applied the Lincoln Stain wax and after two applications, they shine like new. Nothing will bring your shoes or boots back to life like Lincoln. Now a word of caution. If your footwear has white stitching, this will discolor it. If this is not acceptable to you, get the neutral. If you do not mind darkened stitching, Use this. Two more words of advice. First, use good quality tools, get a good dauber, a good brush and a good buffing cloth. It will make the job much easier and you will get better results. Second, it can help if you warm your boots up, either by placing them in the Sun or by using a hair dryer. The pores of the leather will open up and you can really work it into the leather. If you don't happen to have one handy, no problem, but it does help. All I use for all my footwear is lincoln now

Lincoln is all I use on my boots
If all you've ever used is what you can find in an American box store, you need to give Lincoln a shot. There's a lot less solvent and more wax so it goes on thick and shiny. It will absolutely spit shine to a mirror surface. It holds that shine longer than any polish you can find at your local grocery chain. I've used it on Corcorans, Docs, and even Ariats that needed a high shine. It stands up pretty well to water. Lincoln is not a polish that I would use on every shoe or boot I own, but it's my go-to for spit shining.

Great for Brush Shine or Spit Shine
Just rub it into the leather of a clean pair of boots, let it dry, and brush shine for a bright professional looking finish. If you want to take it that extra mile, rub in a second coat with a slightly damp smooth cotton rag for a sparkling spit shine. To make your footgear shine like a mirror, apply a thin layer of acrylic floor wax. I've been spit shining shoes since 1974. Lincoln is one of the best. Any NCO will judge you by your footgear, correct? So will any senior executive in corporate life.

Smell
I used Kiwi before and didn't like it due to the smell and it doesn't give me the shine no matter how hard I try. Did lots of research on shoe polishing and this product got my attention. It is cheap, smell is not as bad as Kiwi, smooth while polishing and easy to get that shine! I would recommend this to friends, family or anyone who's looking into shoe/booth polishing.

Fantastic polish!
I've been a Kiwi user for years, I learned to spit shine with Kiwi and have stuck with it since. I used another brand called Woly which I love as well, it doesn't get that deep gloss like Kiwi but it's very good. The Lincoln polish is fantastic, it goes on nice and thick and when it dries it buffs off very easily. The shine left by this stuff is excellent. It's extremely glossy and deep, just what I was hoping for. I think I will switch over to this stuff permanently!

POLISH SOLUTION!!!!!
I'm a firefighter and have to have my station boots shined. I couldn't quiet get the high gloss shine I wanted from kiwi even with the parade gloss, once I got this stuff my boots are so shiny they look like mirrors. They key is building up a good, thick foundation and building on that with small amounts of polish and ALOT of time polishing! Now as for the product itself, iv read many reviews of people throwing away cans with cracked polish or polish with mold on it, when I got mine it had mold on top. All I did was take a paper towel and wipe of off the top! As for cracking, I suggest you open that can for the first time over a trash can or outside incase any pieces of polish fly out. If you get it and it's cracked just light the polish on fire, let the fire spread to the entire can, blow it out and let it dry. Great product, won't be going back to kiwi!!!

Great product, POOR delivery!
The polish itself is awesome, I know this from experience but the can I ordered showed up looking like it was partially opened which caused the polish to dry out and crack. It isn't creamy like it should be and I don't believe it is usable which is why I give this a low rating. I have used this over the years and it is by far the best shoe polish available to the public in my opinion. Anyone having gone through basic training or boot camp prior to 2005 has likely used it. I would order more but I am fearful of wasting my money again since "this product is ineligible for return"!!! If anyone has a trick to moisten it up please pass on to me.
