I was looking for binoculars to help see the hummingbirds and other birds at my feeders. The feeders are close to my home. The ones I have do not focus that closely. So, I bought a pair of these, and I am pleased to say I can actually focus up to 6 feet. Sounds crazy, but they are that good. At all distances, the focus can be fine-tuned for perfect clarity. I don't believe 6 feet either, but mine do, even though I only needed 15 feet. I'd definitely buy these again.

A great buy! I agree with the same points as a lot of the other 5 star reviews here. I compared a lot of binoculars on Amazon in this price range and I'm so happy I didn't get ripped off. There's no blur at the edge of the image. They feel very sturdy. All the mechanisms turn easily. The coating makes it not slippery to hold. The lens caps are snug. I love the drop down covers on the big lenses. Makes pulling it out for a quick look less of a hassle. Really not a big deal and I'm sure most people prefer it the way it is, but my design feedback would be to have individual covers for the small side lenses. I extend the eye pieces during use and I usually forget to collapse them before I put the cover on. Then I have to take the cover off, collapse the eye pieces, and put it back on. I could just cut the bridge between the two, so I guess that's on me! So glad I bought these! I'm not a binocular expert, but based on the research I did before purchasing, I would definitely recommend these!

Had purchased 3 other pairs of binoculars over the past 20 years. All were Bushnell: 12x50 (too powerful), 7x50 Marine Waterproof and float 2 pairs (Great) and now these. All three are gone. Two stolen and one lost. So this time I wanted to keep the cost and weight down. Surprisingly light and easy to hold with one hand, and I like that the eye-cups can raise up. Really glad I didn't spend a lot of money because for general use these are perfect. No complaints about quality they feel great in my hands. Only wish - less power. Love the form factor but 10X takes effort to hold still. Would love 8x42!! But it can be nice to have the extra power / reach.

Unfortunately, I’m having this issue where there’s a bunch of red tail hawks that fly around and sit on the trees outside my building all the time, like at least 4 of them, and whenever I go grab the binoculars, every single bird and squirrel is gone?? I actually bought these just so I could get a better look at this coyote that passes by my apartment every day around noon. As soon as I got em in the mail, I never saw it again. So other than the wildlife repellent feature (that was not listed in the description), great product! Easy to setup & use, lightweight, you get a pretty wide field of vision, good distance, and decent stability for subjects in close range.

These binoculars seem to be a little skimpy on the quality side. They are adequate, but not completely satisfactory.

Everything exactly as advertised. They work very well, although I have no experience with higher priced pairs to compare.

Good product at a reasonable price. We use it to view the city from our roof and we are happy with it although the shipping and delivery was a bit late.
