Will i need to use a towl with this cap or can i apply the cap directly to my hair with my conditionioner?

I use a treatment cap (clear inexpensive plastic cap). You can find them at any beauty supply store or here on Amazon. I also use a terry spa headband around the treatment cap to avoid drips. They are cheap too.

It's safe, but with any item, I would unplug after use.

What temperature does it get up to on the “high” setting?

You would need to get a thermometer to get the correct temperature

Does it allow to use it as a warmer only as well? Or does it work as a steamer only?
