My daughter has super-thick hair and I got this for her - mainly because she contracted a nasty case of lice (freaked me out like you wouldn't believe). However, she hates the smell. My other daughter and I both love the smell, and use it often. If you have a super-sensitive nose, you might not like it - I think this is a it or miss, but is a good detangler nonetheless. I hope this helps someone - I know it's a wishy-washy review ;-)

I have a daughter in high school who has had several adventures with lice in her elementary and junior high years. She has very long hair and needs a detangler after showering. I found this product on Amazon and we have been very pleased with it for several years now. It is a great detangler, it has a pleasant tea tree scent, and we have had no lice since beginning its use! I also have a four year old preschool boy, who is more likely to be exposed at his age than my daughter. I use a quick spritz of Levia on his hair in the morning before taking him to school to comb out his "bed head" and he, too, has been lice free for two years. After having our home upended twice with combing, washing all clothing and bedding in hot water, reinfestations, sibling infestations, etc. that come with lice, even in the cleanest home, this product is a very inexpensive and useful preventative product for daily use.

I was skeptical but I can confidently say my child did not get lice when it was going around her classroom or even when two friends did get it. It is A MUST HAVE for back to school. I ordered my new bottle for the new school year. DO NOT WAIT TILL ITS TOO LATE ORDER WITH YOUR SCHOOL SUPPLIES.UPDATE: I've been using this product on both my girls for 4 years now and a second round of lice in the classroom of my youngest and we are still lice free!

I bought this after getting notice from school to look out for lice. I am hoping using this will help the lice skip our home. So far so good. It has a strong essential oil smell so that is good. But the spray bottle doesn't mist, it gives a one stream spray so it is hard to cover the whole head. I've been spraying it on parts of the scalp and trying to brush through then. Not ideal though. It does work as a nice detangler

I don't leave a lot of reviews, but this stuff is seriously amazing. We've tried conditioner and another expensive detangler in my kids' hair, and there is no comparison. It does spray more of a direct stream rather than a mist, and it does have a strong scent (and I can't speak to the lice prevention yet as we just got it yesterday)...but it seriously detangles, quickly and painlessly.

This stuff is great to keep in the bathroom. Lice are extremely hard to get rid of! Just detangle with this and send the kids to school without worry! It smells really good.

I like the smell and makes hair brush out easily. Best part is my kids have not come home with lice!

This detangler smells amazing and is great on our toddler's curly hair. We spray it on before school everyday to protect against lice. So far so good!
