The boards can be a bit tricky to get into the bags until you get used to it, but they fit well and do not shift. The comics stay put and are well protected. There is not much room to squeeze in two per bag/board, but I prefer to only put one comic in my bags and boards anyway. I also use these silver age bags and boards for modern size comics and they still fit perfectly.

These comic book bags and backers were perfect for my collection. It's been 40 years since I updated my bags and backers, and I was concerned that the quality of materials had diminished over the years. I was wrong! These bags are nearly identical to the plastic bags I used when I was 13 years old. They fit all my Silver Age comics perfectly. They were shipped well-packaged and arrived securely in a cardboard box, with the bags packaged inside mylar bags and the backers were shrink-wrapped.

This is two different products, and the quality is not equivalent between them. The boards are great, nice and clean, smooth and acid-free on one side. The bags are clear, and slide nicely past each other, such that it's easy to insert or remove your bagged comics from your boxes without them getting stuck together. And I never had any trouble getting boards to fit into the bags. It's sometimes a tiny bit looser or tighter, but generally they're obviously made for each other and work perfectly in tandem. Getting all the good parts out of the way, the one big issue is that the plastic of the bags is pretty thin and flimsy, and can't hold up to much at all. I bagged and boarded a bunch of comics, then went back later to read them, and just trying to remove the tape tore quite a few of the bags. It was pretty annoying and ruined what had been a pristine set of bagged and boarded comics. For the most part it wasn't so bad that I had to throw out the bags, but a good twenty or so are a bit damaged from the tape pulling and stretching the plastic. I admit it's my fault for not giving myself a little folded over pull tab on the tape to make it easier, but still, other bags can handle having tape pulled off them without getting this messed up. Still, with some extra care in the taping, I think that can be almost entirely mitigated, and the price is good for the combination. Despite everything, I will probably by another set of these bags and boards eventually.

Strong Bags that are slightly wider than the Boards mean no accidental rips; which I have found can happen with Modern Size Bags.

1st class product boards and comics/ trade paperbacks installed with ease , offering good protection would purchase again if required.

High quality items individually, but I must have got a bad lot. The boards are so tight you can barely fit them into the bag and forget about getting a comic in there too.

Just as advertised these sleeves are amazing! Great quality and perfect fit! I have tried some of the other brands that are a bit cheaper but ultimately waste of money. You will have zero regrets using these sleeves and the carboard backing (perfect thickness and a slight gloss to help comics slide in nicely). I will be buying again very soon!
